Ich hatte mal eine Weile einen R32 GTR V-Spec II, der war aber rettungslos verrostet (siehe mein altes Video dazu), leider habe ich mich dann in Teilen davon getrennt 😭😭😭
@@GT4-CS Ja, Belüftung war gut. Vorne zum Kühlen ein riesen Gebläse plus der separate zum Ansaugen hinten. 429PS und 435NM…mehr als zufrieden. Man sagt ja, dass die gerne schon ab Werk nach oben streuen. Dazu bei mir Anpassungen im Ansaug und Abgasbereich. Könnte mir vorstellen, wenn der mal eines Tages revidiert wird, dass mit Nockenwellen 450PS möglich wären. 😅
HI, tolle Runde, tolle Zeit. Wieviel Grad haben die bei Manthey eingestellt mit dem KW? Bei mir ist noch ein originales Fw drin, da geht nur VA-2,2 + HA -1,6. Hast du ein anderes Getriebe drin? Gruß Sven
@@GT4-CS Hi Sven, die 7:38 habe ich auch schon geschafft, siehe anderes Video. Die 7:30 ist ein hartnäckiges Biest. Ja, Manthey ist da in die Vollen gegangen. Vorne -3.4 und hinten -3.0. Fährt sich gigantisch gut. An die Schleife fahre ich sowieso mit Trailer, sonst würde die Autobahn den Reifen sicherlich etwas zusetzen. Er hat die Cup Übersetzung, also schön kurz 😬. @@willitgrip Hi Simon, okay, das ist schon ganz schön schnell und alles auf Track gestellt. Ich fahre nur 15-30 Runden im Jahr und fahre den Wagen noch auf der Straße. @@GT4-CS Ja, das mit dem Übertreiben ist so ein Ding. Irgendwann stehen Risk-Reward für die goldene Ananas in keinem Verhältniss mehr. Ich habe für die Straße noch einen Satz PS4s auf den Originalfelgen, dass funktioniert auch super und ist für die Straße auch schon overkill. Grüße
Ah, man, this takes me down memory lane ... you know, sometimes life just takes you down some wild roads, like that time I was delivering tofu for my dad at 4 AM. You’d think it’s a quiet job, but nah, next thing I know, I’m drifting around mountain corners like I’m in a racing game. I didn’t even mean to get good at it-I just wanted to get home and sleep! But, of course, people kept challenging me to races. It’s like, dude, I’m just trying to make my deliveries and not spill the tofu. Yet somehow, I became this local legend. Go figure. Who knew late-night tofu runs would be my path to greatness? Anyway, great video for a beginner. Keep going!
@@giovannig4369 yes, right. A052. I just had a chance to drive them dry, very sticky. I wasn’t able to get the car to an understeer until now 😅. For street driving I use the Pilot Sport 4s. I‘m pretty aggressive on camber, so I let the street tires suffer on longer Autobahn stints 🤭 They wear off a lot faster than the Cup2. Had them on for 80 laps at the ring, 1,5 trackdays and some fun driving on the street. From what I’ve seen now, I guess the A052 will wear out twice as fast…which is kind of a bummer…
I’ve read the A052 are a little like quali tyres, super fast on the first laps and then they get too hot or worn. PS4S should be the perfect street tyre but as far as I know they are not available on the 996 Gt3 original sizes, what size do you use? Are they a legal size in EU?
@@giovannig4369Maybe somewhere between a Cup2 and a Cup2R. Ich have the 4s in stock sizes. 235 and 295 on 18s. It‘s an MK2. I have overblown it with the A052. 255 and 315…not ideal with the setup height, the inner fender suffered a good bit 😂. But grip for ages….haha. All these tyres are street legal, at least in Germany.

Ich würde gerne wissen was den 992 und den 996 unterscheidet? Ich bin noch kein Auto Fahrer aber das ist ja nicht so schlimm ein Auto fährt mit Benzin nicht mit nem Führerschein.
@@ChristopherFeldmann-g4u Hauptsächlich 20 Jahre Entwicklung. Der 996 GT3 war der erste GT3 überhaupt und der 992 ist das aktuelle 911er Modell von Porsche. Der 996 hatte nur ABS, sonst keine weiteren Fahrhilfen. Der 992 ist natürlich auf dem aktuellen Stand der Technik und hat alles an Bord. Im 996 muss man selbst dafür sorgen, dass das Auto nicht in der Leitplanke landet, im 992 hat man ein wenig mehr „Unterstützung“. Viel Spaß beim Autofahren, wenn es mal soweit ist ✌️
Yoko A052 Serien 6 und 4 Kolben mit Cup Scheiben und Pagid RSL-29. Noch nie Probleme gehabt, könnten aber beim Initial Bite etwas aggressiver sein…aber eher fürs Feeling…wahrscheinlich lässt es sich so besser dosieren
Cool lap. You’ve got my dream car😊 Have to ‘make do’ with a almost normal ‘03 996.2 with X51. Added TracTive semi-active struts, Recaro Pole Position, RSL-29, Cup 2’s, improved cooling. My quickest so far 8:45 back in June, so more than a minute slower…. when it gets a bit more respectable I might actually post it 😂.
Hey there, thanks. Do not forget, there are a lot of people out there who have a 996 as their dream car no matter what spec. And with all these mods I guess it’s a lot of fun to drive out there…and still good as a daily…I need to get rid of the drone inside…painful 😂 Just collect as much laps as you can and progress will come by itself. And if there is a chance to book an instructor at your track day, do it…it’s almost like cheating, especially at the beginning. Have fun out there! Followed, so I won’t miss the first lap uploaded 😊
Thanks ✌️ Yes, very happy. Was the big setup on the scale. The car is super stable. I did this 2022 I guess, but with the Cup2s. For this year I switched to the A052 (nothing wrong with the Cup2!) wich a are slightly wider and higher, now it rubs here and there (not at all with the stock dimensions and the car is really low 😬). Maybe that could use an adjustment.
Oh that's good. I had the new Manthey KW's put on my 996.2 Gt3 in June 23 by Manthey. Unfortunately the setup was not optimal at all with the rear not following the front. Anyway after involvement from the Manthey team including Lars Kern we swapped spring rates, adjusted dampers and made setup up differently and now car is 👌. At Manthey day in a couple of weeks to try it out properly. Stay tuned...
@@realstradman Great to hear. I now need to ramp up the pace a bit to get everything more to the limit. Maybe we need some adjustment then...have fun at the Manthey Day! I guess, I will be back in July...way to long of a break 🥲
