Im guessing its the 80's ..look a lot like the transport mechanism for multi tract take recording machines of that era (i used to work on all that stuff)
Is there a way to hear the final print? Post Studer sum/mix? I assume it's being used on the back end rather than front? Or are you using it as an inline recording console? Or both perhaps?
