Great job dude...you clearly have spent time with the knife and you share awesome detailed info as for useage....completely unlike the other guys doing "daily content" and dont even know the name or price of the knife let alone actual experience/use.
Just got mine a few days ago. The action is great as well as lockup. It’s a decent cheap knife but so far not impressed with the edge-holding ability of the steel. The factory edge dulled pretty quickly with light use, just put my own edge on it and we’ll see how it does.
It looks like you can also place the clip in a slot towards the tail end of the flashlight, allowing for an alternate (and deeper) carry with the tail side up when in your pocket. Could you confirm? Thanks.
vosteed as well as other brands use the multiple holes for adjustable spring tension. i dont think you can patent literally just drilling a hole in a steel liner.
I don't have a ton of knives in AUS10. So I haven't experienced any rust with it. It's stainless steel, but I've never had to use it in harsh conditions. I'd say if you aren't carrying a knife that's extremely corrosion-resistant like Vanax, a good rule of thumb is to just give her a little down at the end of the day after using it and you should be fine. I like to use wicked wax. You can use it on any material, it's organic and food-safe. The smallest amount goes a long way too. amzn.to/3Y1UnG7
Idk I ordered mine from Indiana Knives 🫤 I'd reach out to whatever retailer and ask for a status. Maybe cancel the order and buy from somewhere else that has it in stock?
Dude I absolutely love mine! But there's one tincy wincy thing. The plunge grind is awful in my opinion. U sharpen it once and it's going to thicken up at the plunge so other than that this thing is freaking amazing!
You will surely have noticed while watching your video, with a pocketknife , it is always better to store the blade before taking out the other accesories. Thanks to share qith us. I wish have the chance to buy one of those kit.
Got this one first and really loved the blade design and when I received it I was so disappointed with the blade grind! I think Sherif should have gone with Bestech for this one. Bestech would have been able to get the grind down with a better hollow grind and a horizontal on the flat. I'm gonna have to get a regrind for mine when the funds are available
The blade is a polished DLC. The handle is just a standard DLC coating to my knowledge from looking at a couple of retailers' websites. I could be wrong about the handle though.
I’m not a Vosteed fan or a China knife fan for that matter(nice bugout btw)..definitely not worth the price at full price for 14C vs American knives..but I got it second hand at half the price..about what a China 14C knife is worth in reality….Thank you for the video
@trekfortruth2841 Yes, it's coming eventually, (no ETA atm) along with a bunch of other content on some new knives and flashlights I got. I wish I could be more consistent with this channel but I'm juggling a lot of different things at this point in my life. I'd like to devote more time to this, but I've been going through a rough patch lately which I'll eventually pass. Thanks for tuning in.
The action on mine is rough, I can fail it about a 1/3 of the time on opening or closing using the button. I have other CJRBs with button locks like the Frack and original Pyrite that don't fail like this. I am not impressed so far.
Might want to strip it, clean it, and reassemble it, if that doesn't work idk maybe return it if it's that bad. But that's just the nature of the beast with button locks. Especially budget tier.
There are two elastic bands that run on the bottom you can hook both of them at the same time to ensure it's even. I had the same problem at first and was looking for a dedicated hook point but I could never find one so I just used the elastic bands. I'm sure there's a name for them but not sure lol. Thank you! I want to eventually try to get into Revolution Kites, They look extremely fascinating.
@@KnifeFanatic Ah! I was thinking of doing the same thing but with the typical keychain rings, maybe some elastic bands would be better for the cause, thank you very much. :D
Putting bearings inside the blade and washers on top is a very bad idea... Unfixable blade play is imminent with time. Why not just use washers, without making the blade thiner for bearings at its stress point ??? Benchmade did it right with the bugout.
It’s funny that they pack it in so much oil when it’s a pretty much completely corrosion proof knife. Other than maybe the screws, depending on what grade of stainless they’re made from, there’s nothing that can rust. Vanax is about as close to un-rustable as you can get and titanium can’t rust. Gorgeous knife though and I’m super stoked to get my reverse tux Padre that I just ordered the other day.
