Filmed with a single go pro, external mic and BANG average editing skills i bring to you a channel dedicated specifically to all things automotive. From my own and other peoples projects and passions, to car meets/shows, track days and the occasional dabble of gaming. If cars are your thing, look no further.
yo brother love your videos. In regards to the fuel pump sensor i think it is the problem i currently have. That is that sometimes when i fill up my tank full with petrol it shows 410kilometers left and sometimes with full tank it shows 650km.I will confirm it with Renault on monday.
Amigo tengo una duda como puedo cuidar mi caja EDC obvio el mantenimiento pero si estoy en alto total como en un semaforo en luz roja puedo movel la palanca a N gracias saludos
@@jonboyy1327 you must not have watched much of the video mate, it's literally JUST got back from the ring 😂 the engine was hurt previously too so had to be rebuilt, so it's been out of action for a bit. Also... not my car but I have told him off for putting grids on it 😂😂
@@VersionOneUK Last minute RU-vid flick through before starting work. Nürburgring is one amazing place I’ve been 3 times in 12 months so I know how addictive it is. The protracks & pro race wheels previously suited this car so well. Been on a previous Trackday with my old Megane & this car at Donnington so I know of the car too. Nice to see it’s still about though.
@@jonboyy1327 yeah mate it's still going strong! The owner literally uses it just for track, just needed some love and money thrown at it. I borrowed it off him for the vid but other than that it barely see's the road, hence the super sturdy setup 😂 bouncing all over the place. It's a very well sorted car and even before any more work was done on it the spec was maaaaaassive
@@jamesbrown2514 ironically, the car doesn't need any more power 😂 you can use it absolutely everywhere. It's a very quick car mate, and if he wants more power it just needs a tune, the 405 is suuuuuper safe for the build
Hello, i'd like to buy the ad09 for my fk8. What size of your 18 wheels do you have? Because i'm not sure if the 245/40/18 ad09 will fit on my tomanson wheels with size 8jx18
@@VersionOneUK yeah..I agree, i'm seeing on the Yokohama website and they suggest, for these size 235 e 245, width 8-9.5... but ad09 Is not avaiable on 235/40/18 🤷
Hi, Im looking for a 4th gen for my son here in the uk, just wondering which engine you would recommend, for reliability, and is economical, any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.
All depends what he's into mate! The RS200 and trophy both have 1.6 litre turbos, and only come in auto so they're fun and when driven softly are actually quite economical! I can't comment on the other platforms because I've only experienced the RS
Hi mate just found the spacer video amd wondered if you could help... Did you have any issue with the Eibach spacers on the Megane? Mines a 300 trophy and I bought some from a different brand apparently to fit the Megane but they're a mm or 2 too narrow and won't sit flush Just wondering if you came across anything or was it fairly straightforward? Thanks
Hey mate, I've seen this happen multiple times now where people try to save money on other branded or no branded (not saying you have) spacers and they just do not fit the Mégane. Had mine on the car ages, sat completely flush, no issues what so ever
Great video! Thanks for the shout-out out VersionOne and Tommy. I have tuned the gearbox on several of Tommy's cars, but this one is something special, a total beast!
Thankyou dude! We love getting out there with Tommy because he knows his stuff and has put his time in. The cars absolutely mental mate, especially on standard turbo, engine and box 👊👊
surprised marshals didnt have much to say about the timing gear, all the T+C's state no timing aloud on track days like this (instant refusal to take part etc). I guess they made you put the box away, but visible lap timing im surprised by honestly. glad you had fun either way.
I had the megane rs275 and i hate to say this as i love the Meganes but it was so slow. The torque was just rubbish. But will say for a front wheel drive the handling was pretty good.
For the money absolutely mate, I love the MK3 as a platform, especially around the 12/14k mark, but the MK4 is majorly slept on. I actually know someone who now has a 265 after a MK4 trophy and he said the MK4 is faster everywhere, and a much nicer daily, so I think that's where the money goes. If we're talking cash purchase, I'd have an F80 M3 all day 😂
There shouldn't be any throttle delay in sport or race mode mate, but the GFB diverter valve should help... I have videos on the channel installing it and test driving it
Have you ever tried it? The water temperature and oil temperature have not reached the normal operating temperature. Turbolock is very similar. After that, the water temperature and oil temperature have reached the normal operating temperature. You need to turn off the engine, lock the car, unlock it and drive again engine start. Turbo is normal.
Stock, I think the Mazda 2.0 V6 sounds the best because it revs the highest, stock, I think the BMW S65 V8 from the E92 M3 sounds the best, because it revs the highest. Tuned, I think the Nissan VR38 sounds the best at 10000 RPM with something like 3000 horsepower, tuned, I think the Ford Coyote sounds the best at 9500-10500 RPM with something like 1500-2000HP
I'm not sure dude, I would assume because the intakes etc are all lower you'll see less heat soak so theoretically it should run cooler in all aspects... I specifically had a turbo cooler on my clio MK4
Nice mate! Glad you're enjoying it! They aren't very common I can confirm, which is a positive AND negative... But I've only seen 5/6 in the 3 off years I've had it! Their are a couple of reasons why I think these aren't very common but the big push for the nurburgring lap record certainly didn't help put eyes on the car!
I like the exclusivity of it all. When this one came up for sale I couldn't believe my luck. Took her for service and got everything tightened up and is running even better. Are there any performance mods you would recommend. I'm about to get some new tyres and taking the wheels in to get painted black and where the red pinstripes are will change to the yellow on the rs badge.
@@davidflck yeah I like how rare they are, they turn a lot of heads... As for mods mate there are looooads of videos on the channel, it all depends how far you want to go! Obviously if you have any questions, I'll try help you out!
Thanks. I'll check out your other videos before hounding you haha. I'm in Perth Australia so getting parts often means importing which unfortunately is somewhat costly. Hopefully I can find local sources eventually.
@@davidflck oh sweet man I have quite a few viewers out that way! Don't be worried about hounding me with questions, it's part of the deal 😂 Appreciate you checking out the stuff 🙏
