How much pressure should be applied when sharpening an axe? Perhaps Fiskars will consider having voiceover instructions rather than music, which some people might find annoying.
Great tool!!! I use my Axe now to cut tomatoes in the kitchen…. It’s so easy to use and if you can’t master it you probably shouldn’t be using a axe or a knife to start with.

It works like a charm ru-vid.comUgkxDcr-y2Pf6xdnrFHrSP7dl9kpKaCozcSQ Takes less time than my old electric sharpener because it can take more off the knife faster, and then it smooths out nicely with the finer grit polisher. I don't know how long it will last before the grit wears away, but I wouldn't mind having to replace it every once in a while.
Øv, har lige købt den kløveøkse x27 og den er simpelthen alt for let til at kløve effektivt. Måske skulle I oplyse at den kun er god til grand som jo flækker meget let og at skrive at den kan klare 30 cm ( gran!) er også en overdrivelse. Enerte måde at bruge denne meget dyre økse på er ved at svinge den med alle kræfter man kan mobilisere for at kompenser for det lette øksehoved, som giver den lette vægt. Jeg er skuffet over købet, da mit indtryk var at der er tænkt over værktøjet og at det derfor ville være en perfekt øksen, som ville leve op til forbrugerens forventning. Men tilsyneladende har udsenet vægtet højre end funktionen. Øksen burde veje mindst 500 g mere for at være effektiv ved normal sving.
I find this sharpener only works on very few knifes. Blades with a fine pitch just don't touch the sides to sharpen. Yes, it's in knife mode.....much prefer the victorinox pull through.
Which is for the knife and which is for the ax, the symbols are very visible only that we are not interested, it was much more useful a focus on the ceramic rolls to know which for what they are useful! Isn't it just that the Romanian symbols are inverted and do not see (because of the completely useless focus) which is used for the knife for example? Care este pentru cutit si care este pentru topor, simbolurile sunt foarte vizibile doar ca nu ne interesa, era mult mai util un focus pe rolele de ceramica sa stim care pentru ce sunt utile! Nu de alta doar ca simbolurile din Romania sunt inversate si nu vad (din cauza focusului complect inutil)care se foloseste pentru cutit de exemplu?
Wtf are you taking about? It’s a simple slide mechanism. You just slide to the clearly visible symbols and it yields a better aperture (with the same exact roller at work).
