Anyone showing up to this video trying this, know that if your coleman camp stove has a regulator, it will be set up for 1lbs and anything else will cause a no light situation.
I watched a ton of these and fooled with mine for hours with ZERO result!! Very frustrating. Then I found this video. And it worked! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s6aZp1qaHRg.htmlsi=Mo-A2G_aP0DT1abt I had to keep my stove OFF. Otherwise his approach worked when no others would work!
Easy to use right out the box ru-vid.comUgkxAvrAfikbUEMthp3AZ6iX5FKdiHfzy_RP . Next step is to get a heat activated fan to move the heat. I'm impressed by how long it can go on 1 lbs of propane at the low setting which lasted more than 6hrs. You'll have to adjust it lower than the low setting. Used for personal heating at 30° to 50° at low setting in an open garage, it's quite comfortable. It would warm up a good size single car garage if its closed off.
We have used the ru-vid.comUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!
It was normal, just cut the choke off as soon as it is on , or if the choke was on and 1st or second attempt didn't come on , put the choke on off and try it, you did great
I have the Coleman X-Cursion BBQ. I have an adapter hose to convert from !lb tanks to a 20lb tank, but I have been unable to light the BBQ. I have talked to two different BBQ Stores and they tell me that it should work. Any Ideas!
They currently offer 2 or 3 in that power range, the most expensive one says it's lighter and quieter, in fact one is 75 lbs and the other is 110 lbs. The lighter/quieter one costs about $180 more, but price alone isn't my concern, I'm kinda scared to think how they trimmed off all that 35 lbs, I think in some cases it might actually be better to have the heavier one for reliability issues. I know the gas tank is larger on the lower cost heavier louder version..but don't really know much else about it (which is why I'm here:)
Thx for the info! Did you end up seasonal the cooking grid before using? I just bought one and plan on using it this weekend. The grid seems to have a coating on it but thought I’d ask. Thx!
My power just went out and this generator has been sitting in my garage since the freeze in Texas. A landscaper cut the like cutting down a tree. Thank you for the directions on using this. Came in clutch. Saved my food and lit my home.
The battery blows. I'm looking for a 3rd one now and can't fine one. 12V 7AH battery is too small and the only one that will fit in the battery box. . I use a smart battery maintainer and run it 2-3 times a year to keep fresh gas in the carb. It needs a bigger battery.
Actaully it's the video that is a "Fail" not the matches. These matches light in the rain and in windy conditions. I don't know of any human, that would put the matches in a glass of water and even try to light them up. (Water puts out fire is something that even kids know) That being said, in badweather coditions, thse matches really work without any problem (it's also the 1st UCO match, I see break like normal cheap mathces) UCO Stormproof matches, are the best Stormproof matches in the world. Only ZIPPO stormproof matches come close.yet the UCO are better.
