I'M REPOSTING THIS FROM ABOUT A YEAR AGO. MANY PEOPLE HAVE THANKED ME SO I THOUGHT I'D POST IT ON EVERY EGO BATTERY REPIAR VIDEO "THE BANG TRICK WORKED .SO glad I saw the comments about banging the battery from about a foot off the ground and dropping it. IT WORKED I had THREE bad batteries. ALL THREE have been working GREAT since May and I recharge and use the OFTEN. HOLY GUACAMOLE. Those three bad ones were here for over a year. I bought two news ones for 200 bucks a piece but something told me NOT to throw those bad ones out. THREE bad batteries now working PERFECTLY for five months with CONSTANT charging. I have the lawn mower, leaf blower and snow blower and I use the blower daily and the lawn mower once per week. HUGE area. SO glad I was the comments about BANGING the batteries. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU"

So, if I plan to charge $50 per man hour and I have 3 guys working, I need to be sure I'm making $150 per hour, is this correct?

I have this mower. I changed to a single lithium 48 volt battery and the mower is complete different. It has no power loss and it cuts anything with no speed loss.prior to the lithium battery it was a struggle to get through a job with taller grass. The battery is a big limit to this machine. Change the battery, easy to do. I had to buy a new charger but the mower is so much better now it is worth it. I got 2 years of use with the original batteries but I was draining them everything else I used it so it was severe. These lithium batteries have a load potential that is a game changer.

If you don't care about using the self propel feature can you recommend it for a homeowner? The wider deck would make mowing faster and it's still very compact.

Hi, I got that mower and the blades turn but the forward and reverse it will not move. I figure drive controller. About the batteries what do you think about two 24v 50ah lithium batteries? would it be easier to hook up? Another guy did 4 lithium batteries and bought a charger that hooks up to the charging port. It seems that you bought one lithium battery and a new charger and this works??? Nice videos. I am a home owner not commercial.

Doesn't work out. You are dividing the insurance, maintenance and mileage over a 5 year term. Along with the total cost of the vehicle. When the insurance,, maintenance and mileage are ongoing in each of the 5 year running costs.

Brand new Ego trimmer. The charge lasted 20 minutes. I found this video and comments when I looked it up to see if it is common. Wow! Stuff all over the Internet about Ego batteries. Time for some consumer protections to kick in and fix this problem since, from what I am seeing, Ego isn't handling it themselves.

Canvassing is considered a form of solicitation. I think as long as you leave on door and don't knock on door should be fine. Or you can mail in flyers through an ad agency's mail in newspaper ad . Most neighbors with HOA ,usually have a "No solicitation " sign at entrance to subdivision .
@QuietLawn
@QuietLawn Месяц назад
Even if that were true, it still doesn't make soliciting illegal. And, painting words on a sign and putting it in front of your neighborhood doesn't create a law.
@TommyFox
@TommyFox Месяц назад
I'd absolutely consider that soliciting by my village's definition (they require a permit if you want to do that): Solicitor: Any person, firm or corporation traveling by foot, vehicle, or any type of conveyance who goes from residence to residence, business to business, or place to place, within the Village and without appointment, for the purpose of taking or attempting to take orders for the sale of goods, wares, merchandise, foodstuffs, subscriptions, or services of any kind, characters or description whatsoever; peddling (providing the article or thing at the time of any transaction); making or requesting appointments, procuring interviews, or arranging for demonstrating or explanations preliminary to any actual solicitation of orders, selling, peddling or hawking; or engaging in other similar activities involving commerce or trade, or the sale of any commercial item. This definition also includes any person who, without invitation, goes upon private property to request contribution of funds or anything of value, or to sell goods or services for political, charitable, religious, or other noncommercial purposes.
@QuietLawn
@QuietLawn Месяц назад
Even if you consider it soliciting, which it is not, that still doesn't make it illegal as I mentioned. Neither does painting words on a sign and putting them in front of your neighborhood.
@TommyFox
@TommyFox Месяц назад
@@QuietLawn I checked with my Village and it is soliciting per their definition above and it is illegal unless you get a permit "A. Unless otherwise provided in this Chapter, it shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business of soliciting in the Village without first having a license as herein provided. Notwithstanding the fact that a group may have several solicitors in the Village at one time, a separate application shall be filled out and submitted to the Village for each individual solicitor and each individual solicitor shall be required to obtain a separate license. A license shall not be issued to any individual under the age of fourteen (14)." and they will issue a ticket for it. I just recommend you find out whats legal in each village / town you want to do this in. Calling the local police station to check on this takes 30 seconds.
@OneAwareness1
@OneAwareness1 18 дней назад
@@TommyFoxOnly if he knocks on the door and tries to sell his service then it would be soliciting, but he won’t get in trouble with the law anyway. No police will arrest him, although, they may tell him to move it along because the people there don’t want him in their neighborhood.
@TommyFox
@TommyFox 15 дней назад
@@OneAwareness1 Nope. In my village going door to door with or without the knock is soliciting and illegal (unless you get a permit). It shouldn’t be hard for you to call the police station in the area you want to do this in and ask. I’ve had a bunch of high school aged kids who’s bosses send them out not knowing the rules and there’s no reason they should have to learn the lesson from a police officer showing up rather than business owners being responsible.

Fascinating looks like 2 battery ports staggered on the sides that’s prob good for weight distribution. Is the self propel an electric motor or is it like a belt / pulley drive like the gas mowers? This may be the issue, I have an echo 56v 21” mower and I love it-but the self propel is too slow that electric motor needs to move about 1-1.5 mph faster to be competitive w a gas self propel commercial mower.

That is a shame to hear! At my old job I got Ego tools right when they came out, think around 2014/15ish? Those batteries lasted a good 5 year being used every day blowing leaves, stimming etc. Whe moved onto the new style batteries and think had one failure but I know others with the new style batteries having a few fail which is worriesome. Hope they sort it out as the brand has a good thing going!
