I guess that made Todd happy after all he was Todd a few years ahead before I was Todd. When I saw him in 2015 I was pretty happy with the show I yelled out a request and he played it...Zen Archer.
Holy cow. Who was the lousy sound engineer at the US Festival? Poor Stevie. I learned recently that this was the beginning of in ear monitors, and it clearly was not working well for her! Couldn't hear Lindsey on The Chain. You barely hear the piano on Don't Stop. It wasn't until Gypsy that she started to sing well, only to come undone in Rhiannon -- she tried, but what a disaster THAT was! Nearly blew her head off with feedback. They played Gypsy far better here than at the last show at the Forum on the Mirage tour. In spite of the messy sound, the musicians were all in top form. Mick and John were at their tightest peak here. Better than in 2014 when Christine came back. Mick was really off in the beginning of that concert I saw on YT. And Lindsey is total killer here. He's always been great. RIP Christine.
29:00 Her doing Rhiannon here is pure gross, drugged-out nonsense She hasn't been able to hit either of the correct notes on Dreams or Rhiannon since '76
Heck, she is snorting on the stage. Hell they have to wait on her in the middle of a song. Whatever, listen closely to this one. She changes some of the lyrics towards Lindsey ( she saids WELL DID YOU REALLY EVER HAVE THAT WHAT YOU LOST) TAKE A LOOK AT LINDSEY FACE I LOVE THEM THE AUDIENCE LOVES THEM BUT 😢 THEY COULD HAVE PUT ON A BETTER SHOW. THIS IS LIKE A SOAP OPERA BETWEEN STEVIE AND LINDSEY.
I love them too, but STEVIE is high and and looking at Lindsey. They should give the Audience a refund. It is ashame that STEVIE IS DOING THIS. IT'S A GREAT MESS. SHE'S ANGRY WITH HIM
The real deal kids!!! No computers- no tuning - no video screens- A time when tickets were 10$ we would just run to the stage and grab you ground - festival seating - days
So awesome to see them play classics live like Devil Delight and Magazine. If you listen closely you can hear Nancy Wilson through a bit High Jink into the intro to Crazy on You. If you have a good ear. It’s awesome and overlooked by many.
I love these guys but this performance is terrible. Lindsey’s sound not loud enough, Stevie doesn’t sound good at all, it’s sped up, the entire sound mix was off… am I the only one hearing/seeing this?
Shame Lindsey got himself thrown out of that band - seems like he still related to Stevie Nicks like when she was his girlfriend in high school - she has come a long long long way from that time - highly evolved, super intelligent, creative, talented, ambitious -she is a true alpha. I can see her point of view - i guarantee LB knows it now - learned it the hard way - humility is a learning experience and often a hard lesson to learn but a beneficial lesson at that. I saw them with Finn and he sang great and pulled off the LB vocals exceptionally. With that said, LB was a great great under rated guitar player and fine singer and dynamic performer.
It’s hard to say this about someone I admired for so long, but Stevie Nicks is a mess here, not at the microphone when she should be, screwing up her own lyrics, and singing like her nose is clogged with blow.
When He rose He wasnt the only one that came back from death. Others walking around yard. When i was saved SO WERE YOU!!! get it??!!!! You have to go through Him... If you want to get to me.. houston you have a problem...
I wish that I could of seen Fleetwood Mac in concert 🎉🎉. But,ty,for posting this concert 🎉🎉. It's the closest I'll ever get to seeing them🎉.I just love Fleetwood Mac 🎉🎉. Christine McVie was the silent engine of that group and the backbone 🎉🎉
This is HEART... Seeing the current "Heart" hurts a bit.. No magic anymore.. Ann & Nancy are legendary but this was a group. Heart was Heart before the sisters even joined.. The music is what REALLY matters and it is the BEST!
💯2024 Lilith Fair version, replete with resentment and misandry! Met all of my music heroes through the decades (including the sisters) and at least we have our memories. (I even text back and forth with a past member :) This 2024 "reunion" is not one, and they should have been big enough to ask the GUYS (who co-created those songs, BTW) to come back for a REAL reunion "farewell." I still love them, just disappointed. (Stevie Nicks pulled the same crap with Lindsey on the last Fleetwood Mac tour.)
Playing Lead,Rythem guitars, and singing at the same time for more than an hour is what makes Billey Gibbons one of The Best of the Best in the business period......
I think this was during the Zenith of their career - this lineup was the best . The 2nd album was the catalyst for them to shoot higher and be a headliner . And the following albums are good too, the problem was/is the music industry totally shit itself out of the changing times and technology- this type of music basically became rare. Now, the popular music is absolute garbage - beyond the pale in terms of any sort of conceivable talent or relativity
In the Astrodome, in Houston, Tx., where Billy came from. Intro announcer calls them the The ZZ Tops? You’re kidding, right? Have you not even heard of them? DID YOU EVEN READ THE COPY? Give me a break, man… 😂😂😂😂
