This is a nice change! I've watched just hundreds of videos of people walking or driving around, hundreds where they are concentrating on some specific thing (street food mostly), but everyone seems to ignore the details of what's along the road! I wouldn't mind a little more detail if available (say from the signage which I can't read). "This is a little restaurant, it has local style food". Anyway I was surprised to find this, it's something I've been clamoring for. I keep saying "If I ever get to that market (or town, or neighborhood) I'll spend a YEAR on one block or so, and never run out of material".

honestly, before 2018 when President Xi became president, the rivers in the cities and in the villages were not clean as now. The air condition is also terrible, especially in winter and in northern cities. But after 2018, the environment gets better every year and every day.
The only thing that didnt look like a communist dystopia was the McDonald's. And by the way, is China 'very very clean'? How about you go and film in some of the rivers or check the air quality in most cities.

I thought it was found to be terrible for your health to live around electrical power lines like that? At least in developed countries you dont see that in the middle of an urban area.

I used to go there when that area was nothing but bars and restaurant all over the place, no new buildings, no hotels, nothing. Then the Olympics came and they got rid of all of it.

Now go and try to hold a demonstration about something important like ending uygher camps, of freeing tibet or that taiwan should be free, or purchase a firearm or vote for a different party, or organize a general stike at a factory, or bring a lecturer to a university to speak against the govvernment.... let me know if things keep going swell...there are more important things to life than subsidized material goods.
