I just left Nashville! Which cave is this and when can we go with yall? Lol It'll probably be a few weeks before I'm back that way but I've been having cave dreams alot more frequent and dying to get into a good one
If you're being like, "lol, rooms are huge. No claustrophobia here" you just don't get claustrophobia. Which I presume is what you meant by the title. I spelunk, have ever since my childhood, rock climb too but Im TRULY terrified of both and its a helluva challenge for some of us.
I used to leave my pack behind all of the time. But, it was a reserve that was only necessary once I'd gone through my primary, secondary, and tertiary supplies that I kept on me using belt pouches and (today) camelbak pack. I kept three sets of batteries, light bulbs, and flashlights, a hygiene kit, snack food, and a compass on me personally. Everything else (spare rope, clothing, snivel gear, a week's worth of canned food) I kept in a small three-day pack just in case. I'd still need to use my lights to get back to it, but like everything, one must weigh their options, too.
Hello! I am an Eagle Scout and I have been to multiple trips into caves with my troop. They are awesome, I am glad Scout still allow this with all the dumb stuff going on.
Cool specimen. I think you made the right decision taking it up and putting in the visitor center for other folks to enjoy and also ensuring that it doesn't erode away into nothingness.
@@CaveGoose I've always heard the 3rd one closed up after the earthquake back about 15 years ago at Ava, Long before I moved down there. I've been in the front part of Guthrie cave as well. If it's possible, I've been wanting to get into spelunking, could I ask you on a more private platform about this cave?
I have some golden, some silver, and green. Some are side by side with the other colors! It’s such a cool effect. I’ve Never been able to catch it with my camera just right
this would have made the perfect jump scare. its so calm and isolated. you built it up as if it was that way and were panning the camera back and forth in a typical horror shot where a jumpscare would happen lol.
I used to go cave exploring when I was younger. We had a cave in northern Wisconsin that we used to go to and at one point you needed to squeeze through a small opening to get to a larger room. In hindsight I could see how easy it would have been for us to get stuck and someone finding my body a hundred years later. Stay safe!
