Haiiro no neko AutoWorx started off as a way to document a new build and just have some fun! Inspired by my 2 grey cats and my love for the automotive culture of japan. As an automotive enthusiast who loves to build cool vehicles, I figured I would document some of the projects I get the privilege of working on. So follow and grow with us as we give you a look into some of the cool things we get to do. Currently working on our new mini truck project "Purple Stuff".
I appreciate it! 💪 yeah nit everyone loved the widebody, but it's just the first version. I may change up some things, but I got a little suprise coming. Nothing crazy yet, just a single cab, but I think you'll dig it.
Appreciate it! 🫡 I'm definitely going to be posting a video where we walk around the truck, go over it a little, and take it for a spin! I'll have some gopros rolling as well as an interior POV.
@@H.N.N.AutoWorx I’ll be waiting for the vid, hopefully i’ll have mine running and ready to go by wendsday. So maybe i’ll have time to film a little something about it.
Heyo! Just some wheel spacers. They are 1.25in, still 6x139.7 lug pattern. They are good. I'd recommend using the 240sx lug studs since they longer, you'll get more threads on the adapter nut. I used blue locktite on them and I'm confident in the quality of them.
Appreciate the support! 💪💪 yeah, I thought it was a weird one. It gave me a scare when I was testing the electrical today. The trans fluid will be here Tuesday, so hopefully, by Friday, this thing will be running.
@@H.N.N.AutoWorx How funny I’m also waiting on trans fluid, and a oil pump. Just needed to freshen everything up before I get mine ready to go! I’ll have to do a video on my truck and what all i’ve done to it!
Dude this is a perfect solution for my problems. I just did this on both my doors for the handle and the door card itself and it couldn’t have been better thanks for putting this out there and hopefully more people see it! Love the truck btw
Yeah, I mean the brake lines were pretty easy to bend and flare. If I can give any advice, it would be to always go longer then you think you might need.
Appreciate the support! I got my paint all from Roth Flake, go check out there website, lots of flakes and candy paints. This truck was all rattle can. From thier rattle bomb line. Highly recommend. I used 12 cans of base, Flake, and clear. Which gave me about 4 solid coats of base, 4 of Flake and 4 of clear.
Absolutely! I appreciate the support, and I hope you get out there and get it going. If you follow the Instagram post up some pics, id love to see it. 💪💪
@@H.N.N.AutoWorx Darker royal colors tend to work good with the gold/ black aspects you got going on. Just found this build today and think its pretty awesome! Hope to see more :)
Definitely agree! Originally, the truck was going to have a matching base coat, but after seeing it over the black, I loved how it looked darker in the shadows and bright in the sun. The wheels are the same, a softer gold in the shade but a nice flake in the sun. All that paired with the satin black trim, air tank, compressors, and grill should flow well. I hope you enjoy the build as it progresses, it's come a long way in just 9 months.
On this build I’ve seen you got more stuff rohdefab should look into getting the d21 door pulls I just got them for mine and they add a lot more to the looks!!! Just waiting for the rising sun vents then getting them powder coated
Lol, yeah, we have the nissan door pulls in podwercoat now along with the send nudes cowl vents. 🤙 pretty much the whole catalog for the d21 that he offers. If you don't already, follow me on Instagram! I'd love to check your build out.
I'm piecing a neglected '92 king cab that a buddy of mine bagged in '02. It's black, and I've already painted the fuel rails and dash bezel anodized purple
Get it running, finish the bodywork and drive it. It took a hit on the nose that destroyed the core support so it was parked and forgotten years ago. I wound up with it after he passed, and I'm drawing some inspiration from your project
The fuse panel, relays, and breakers were all soured thru eBay. There are some panels that are much better than this one, and some even have the relay panel included. We are going to be building the final fuse/relay panel here soon, now that we have an idea of where the location will be.
Appreciate you! I'm glad you are enjoying the build so far. Lots of little bits getting wrapped up, but I'm hoping to get the bodywork rolling this weekend and hopefully see this thing all painted by the end of the month.
I’m gonna start binging your videos lol I have a 93 and plan to redo my dash similarly soon and extremely appreciate what your adding to the slim community of in depth content especially for hardbodies. Thank you good sir!
I appreciate the love! For the dash, definitely grab yourself some 2-4mm foam first, then wrap the dash in your favorite foam backed fabric. I made a mistake the first time I did the dash and felt it wasn't as plush as it could be. So, adding that additional later really made it feel great. I've been trying to make videos that help out. Seeing some of the stuff on RU-vid never seemed as good as what I was able to find in the forums. So I figured why not get some videos posted in case someone else needs help like I did. Thank you for watching the videos and being a part of the minitruck community. Feel free to follow me on Instagram, same name as the RU-vid. 🫡
Nice man! I had a pretty bad lookin dadh too.. i got one of those hard covers that get siliconed over an old one. It looked perfect, but seemed barely too small to fit perfect. Then it dawned on me. I riped it down to bare metal, slapped the cover on the bare dash, and it fits PERFECTLY! So my plan now is to shoot some expansion foam in the voids of the metal, cut it all down flush where it should be, shoot a bunch of expansion foam, throw a cut hefty trash bag on it, and clamp/weigh the cover on it (hopefully that gets me a hair of cushion and forms up the dash for the cover just right), take the cover off and the trash bag, then cut off or fill in anything that forces the cover to bow til it sits just like the origional. But i like that material u used on urs! Has me thinkin i might do a cloth now.. maybe black denim? Lol thatd be cool, but i dont want it to sun fade. Idk but its got my brain tickin
Awesome! Yeah I originally was going to do something similar, where I'd cover the dash in foam material or expanding foam and cut it down to fit the replacment cover, but just decided to give it a shot and see how it turned out. If you post your truck on Instagram or FB feel free to add me. I'd love to check it out! I'm glad the content on the dash got your wheels turning with your project. Appreciate the support! Thank you for watching. 🫡
