I’m glad I refunded MWR a day before they sent the cease and desist letter. I played a couple of matches and realized I wasn't a fan of the original MW games. Still think BO2 is the goat. And any game that’s filled with sweats is bound to fail. The way Activision is handling SBMM is terrible, and it’s the reason I quit MW3 three months ago. But they were right about one thing: SBMM is necessary for keeping the casual players, or else the game would end up filled with only sweats. Xdefiant is a prime example of that.
@@asinner 100%. SBMM can never truly be eliminated because the skill gap of FPS gamers as a whole has gone so high up within the last ten years. Even someone who’s above average rn would stomp 80-90% of players from back then. BO2 def still the goat. I also never bought MWR, I have the crack lol, f*ck Activision
@@indiscretixnit can easily be deleted all older cods worked just fine had a perfectly fine player base without sbmm. There is no excuse to have it. There were pros then a pros now only thing that’s changed is movement people doing crazy things is nothing new.
@@sweatbag_4209 XDefiant has no SBMM and most casuals refuse to touch that game because of its player base. I’m not saying COD has to keep the strict SBMM, I’m saying they should still have it but lower it so people aren’t constantly punished for playing good
@@indiscretixn the game doesn’t have a player base like cod so can’t really compare them there is a ranked mode for a reason in games xdefiant isn’t even a decent game imo I wouldn’t touch it with someone else’s hand and that’s not because sbmm. Games will never be like they once were and sbmm is just one factor on why.

You also realize there’s no difference between ranked and the public playlist for SBMM? I’m still standing firm that SBMM has to exist at SOME level, it can be very low though. There are people with 10+ years of FPS gaming experience and someone playing an FPS for the first time doesn’t deserved to get stomped that easily, even if you want easier lobbies to play against.
Yea that’s crazy I have a 4kd in multiplayer obviously 2 boxing but when I play in my normal lobbies it’s actually easier than what you’re showing so it seems like if you’re in the range of 0.90-2.00 range your lobbies will be like this shown but if you’re on the higher end like 4kd and very low end 0.30-070 sbmm isn’t that bad crazy right?
@@Prioz__ yup and I’ve seen a lot of explanations as to why. Basically, 1.5 K/D and above is less than 15-20% of the player base because most COD players only average a 0.8-1.0 K/D or below. Because of what my K/D is, I will always face off with at least 4-5 players in a 10v10 for example that are a higher level and K/D than me. Sometimes the SBMM/EOMM can still be forgiving and give me less difficult lobbies, but I always get destroyed for 5-6 out of like 12 matches. Respect for admitting to 2-boxing. Doing that definitely messes up the SBMM/EOMM, but I can’t blame you for not wanting to sweat your balls off 24/7. I’ve only been doing it because I want to improve + content creators who only reverse boost do get boring to watch if that’s all they post.

Honestly preferred the slower gameplay they were doing in mw2, until all the sweats and pros started crying they couldnt bunny hop and slide cancel. I hate yall

Idk how you still play MW3 man lol. The game's not fun to me anymore. It's become so unbalanced with everyone just using the same meta weapons every game. After I quit and went back to Cold War, I realized I also didn't like the movement, it felt way too fast and unrealistic. Players were just skating on a greased up floor with banana peels for knee pads. It’s like they overcorrected from MWII being too slow, and now it’s all about sliding, jumping, and speeding around with no consequences. Like I can slide cancel and jumpshot/dropshot, but I don't want to do that every single game. If they struck a middle ground where movement has some momentum and feels intentional, but still rewards aggressive play, it would've been much better.
@@asinner The movement is crazier and definitely overcompensated like you said, but I’d rather have that than that slump fest we had on MWII. I literally had 0 drive to post any content on that game 😭 I think I just like what the franchise was and still has, but the issues do drive me nuts. I just like this game too much despite the SBMM + connection issues + battling all the aim assist. I’ve played COD (og MW3) since 2013 and I’ve always done my best to play all the games despite their ups and downs 🥲
another note: I dislike using the meta too, but it's the only viable way to get clips and decent gameplay. The main reason I wouldn't be running the meta is if I'm trying to level up my guns or I'm getting stomped in the game regardless.
yea, I try to filter out clips if they’re too simple and don’t include them in the montage. I do try to get better so each montage will show that, hopefully 😅
You can dribble with the left click while dribbling, and it may be better if you use both with the right click while dribbling. That's how I use it... Recommendation :D
I know it's a popular opinion to shit on modern COD but BOCW, MW 2019 and MWII had a ton of passion put into them. Although CW had the least amount of it possible it still felt good. MW 2019 has some developer interviews on youtube and you can really see that they cared about what they were making , same goes with II. I ain't gonna defend Vanguard and MWIII , those are just cashgrabs.
MWIII was 100% a cash grab but at least the devs have made some sort of attempt to reciprocate player feedback compared to the noncommunication we got late in MW2019. CW def was really good, just suffered from quality of life and balance issues, as well as being rushed too quickly (should've been delayed a couple months) It is a trend to sh*t on COD but I don't even wanna make videos with these titles 😭 I just want a COD title that people can play that is genuinely fun, minus the manipulation tactics they've used within their game & marketing to make the player base seem bigger than ever, when its the exact opposite.
I actually haven’t played the remaster so it was a surprise for me here too! I never pressed the button years ago 😅 But I didn’t know the remaster didn’t have it 😔
