My family and I (fourteen of us) also visited Aruba from Toronto, last summer. We stayed at the Riu Palace (the resort comprised of three buildings with turrets at each corner, depicted at 6:45. With respect to the cool ocean water, here is an explanation: The currents in the Caribbean head south and then when they hit the South American coast there is an upwelling of deeper cold water that flows back north and causes Aruba to experience cooler water temps. You guys mentioned growing up in lakes. If you don’t mind my asking, which ones, specifically? We have a family cottage on Peninsula Lake in Huntsville, which my parents and I just drove up to today.
Thanks for that explanation! The Riu is a nice-looking hotel! We've been to some of the lakes in Cobalt, Ontario, like Bass Lake - too cold to swim in May, for us at least!
Loved your Aruba video series! I feel I really need to go to visit the bird and donkey sanctuaries. I’m sorry I missed those and the aloe factory the times I visited
Thank you so much for this video - it is excellent 👏🏻 I enjoyed your style and coverage of Magog. I have just begun researching this beautiful place. It's now definitely on my list! Have also just subscribed to your channel and will share your video 😊
Magog isn't as happy and glamourous as this video makes it out to be. I was born and raised there and it has serious serious problems. You should've shown more of east Rue Principale where the poverty is.
Hi folks..great video. Just one thing, it's pronounced May gog...with the emphasis on May. Lived there for the first 50 years of my life. Hope to return soon. Keep up the great work.
