@@jayantkumarpatel Tell your mechanic to connect this BassTube directly to the speaker wire it'll automatically connect to all the speakers and tweeters then, no power handling issues but do not use music system when car is off for more than 15-20 mins or else it'll fully drain your car battery
@@TAKASHI2010SAM See I'm not aware of how Bridgestone tyres are, but I would suggest not to go for 205/60 bcz of the thickness your rubber your tyres on the inner fender bcz I have 195/65 and still I rubber the inner fender of my Altroz, if you still want 205 section tyres of it's thickness then go for 205/55 R16 combination that will be perfect
@@TAKASHI2010SAM My suggestion go for Code6 Tune, that is much more practical bcz Diesel Tronic will give power only at the peak of rpm range which is practical only on big open roads whereas a proper ECU Tune like Code6 will give you max power from the starting of rpm range itself
@@daninwheels1006 I upgraded the tyre yesterday continental UC6 205/60 R 16 Tubeless 92 V with no tyre wall or fender lining touching I am really bothered about mileage cuz it is diesel even in the stock tyre,my driving style makes it 16-18 km mileage since it as excellent power the grip on high way is fantastic 8100-/ per tyre
@@TAKASHI2010SAM 205/60 you'll not touch the fender lining while driving straight but try parking and at some point your tyre will harshly rub against the inner fender lining, with 205/60 and if the driving style is harsh then expect a mileage drop of 1.5-2 or worst even 3 kms, bcz with my 195/60 I'm experiencing a mileage drop of 1.5-2 kms at the max when driving aggressively
@@parassahai Hi, absolutely yes that's a bang on perfect upgrade as it'll be more or less equal to your stock tyres in simple terms 175/65 to 185/60 so basically you are increasing the width of the tyres at the same time reducing the thickness so this upgrade is like 0.5-1% change which is perfect in automotive world, you'll have more rubber on road to give you better grip
@@parassahai It would be same for me if I upgraded to 195/60 R16 from my stock 185/65 R16 but I chose to go for 195/65 R16 as I wanted to increase my ride height and cushioning effect as Altroz suspension is stiff and ground clearance is low

@@pratikkaranje4561 If you drive with a light foot and in a calm manner then the mileage drop will be negligible, but if you drive enthusiastically then yes you might see a drop of 1-2 and in worst case 3 kmpl mileage drop, but I say you go ahead mileage drop isn't that big of a deal breaker
@@pratikkaranje4561 Last weekend I had gone Pune using Mumbai-Pune express way and drove normally at 90-100 kmph speeds and got a mileage of 22.6 kmpl with AC always on and a fully loaded car with 5 people and luggage in boot so ya if you drive normally mileage drop is negligible
@@banml8478 Yes it will improve, 185/65 will improve ground clearance same as 195/60 maybe by 3-4 milimeters but might reduce stability on high speed turns as you've increased the height of your tyres but the width (thickness) still remains same giving it tall boy physics but again don't worry as the difference will be very minimum
@@raviinderreddysama1857 If you install a strong and bright LED light like how I've done in my Fog Lamps then power on only Fog Lamps will also be very good and bright and will lit up the road ahead of you very nicely
@@Lrxkid See while buying any 2nd hand car never go with offer price, take a test drive see that all the electronics are working fine and only then go for it. 3.5 for 2017 model is a high price it should be around 3 lacs to 3.20 lacs at the max

@@carkrazy8597 I had installed a big pressure horn / Skoda / Creta type horn for that had kept a separate button, currently that horn is my main horn and on main horn pad so now that button is useless
Hardly 2-3 pulls, you don't have to constantly drive in 2nd gear just redline in 2nd gear 2-3 times that's it, by doing that your car will reach optimum heat level
No issues faced as such, mileage will go very down if you are driving with a heavy foot with this installed, acceleration and peak power increased and you feel it in high rpm range, NVH more or less the same, lag while picking up car from very low speed is totally gone now super smooth acceleration especially while picking up car after crossing speed breaker in 2nd gear no need to downshift to 1st easily picks up with AC on Turbo kicks in very quickly bcz of this ECU
@@daninwheels1006 thanks for your response.Did you get a chance to drive in hillstations & uphill roads? A friend was complaining of inconsistent/weird power/torque delivery in uphill roads in his ecu upgraded Polo GT.Did you come across any such instance?
@@jayaprasanthcg There's a big problem with Altroz's accelerator pedal, it does not take response of our leg pressed, so especially in hills if you own an Altroz Diesel you need to be careful if there is a sharp turn it's better to be already in power range or else the rpm drops and when you press the accelerator pedal fully then suddenly car responds and then you either get way too much power or else wheels spin, as I'm owning my Altroz from a good 3.5 years or more so I know exactly how to drive it in hills but a new owner will surely struggle, when I see a sharp turn in hills I immediately drop a gear and keep the rpms high
@@jayaprasanthcg Note: Car is not under powered but accelerator pedal response is absolutely shit, like my older Diesel Tata Indigo had such a beautiful accelerator pedal it was a pleasure to drive on hills but this Altroz is not that great in hills once you get the hang of the pedal then you can enjoy the drive in hills
We bought a turbocharged diesel 1.5L engine for Power, This is a problem with Indian customers; they just don't like even a little bit of aggressive response. Manufacturer has to sell the car so they listen. I tell you this engine is Gold, keep the coolant topped up, regular oil changes, Air filter replacement. That is all that is needed if the car is working as you expect. These service centers etc.. will introduce 5 issues when they fix one. Just knock back, no diesel engine needs an oil change at 2500 kms or 4000 kms.. Do it at 10 K or if you really love your car do it at 4 k. Stupid service plans and this service at that kms or months; it's all a hoax, leave it. I have an Altroz Diesel 19,000 kms done, I only changed the Engine oil twice and Engine coolant top up. Nothing else, I may need to tune the breaks in 4 months but thats it. No one is touching my car because of some paper manual says to do so.
You are right I'm a car enthusiast myself, that being said I do have knowledge about cars and atleast about my own car if not for all cars, I just did my 3 free services from TATA which are done within the first year of car purchase after that the next time I did service that time I put Shell fully synthetic oil which was done around 23k kms and now my car has done 33k kms exactly 10k from the last oil change and I'm still going to run it 5k more before next oil change, at next oil change as well I'll first do a complete engine flush to remove all the sticky dirt that gets collected inside engine chamber and then again put Shell fully synthetic engine oil, my coolant is always topped up so my car absolutely stays relaxed in this 40 degree heat as well
@@daninwheels1006 oh bro bang on, I have this Shell pump near my home and I get the oil change done there. I go semi synthetic because where I live the temperature stays 10-35 degrees Celsius.. year round. About the tyres mine have done 19k only but they look like they will do at least 60k before even looking like they need to be changed. Roads have gotten better. I like your point.. tc
@@Betelgeusewaitforit Good for you bro that roads are better, here in Mumbai roads are not that great, plus I drive with a heavy foot so you know hard acceleration and hard braking causing tyres to wear out quickly, also if you notice I've changed by alloys around 3 years ago so the stock tyres are just a bit narrow for these alloys so my ride quality has become very bad, now that I'm used to it from many years but as soon as I sit in my friend's Altroz or he sits in mine the difference is noticeable, so I said that I'll upgrade tyre size for a smooth and silent ride
As per my understanding and experience if you don't use Altroz diesel regularly it won't make any issues, but when you are driving it if you drive it too slowly like a petrol car then you'll definitely get dpf filter clogging issue as your car's exhaust will not get hot enough to get the accumulated carbon heated up and evaporate in water vapour form
I've been owning my Altroz diesel for almost 4 years now and driven only 32k kms bcz my car was standing without running for 2 years due to wfh, believe me not even a single time I faced dpf issue never ever, bcz while driving I try to give it hard acceleration 2-3 times that heats up the exhaust system properly avoiding dpf issues
Hi .. i also have xzplus diesel .. the power delivery feeling in first and second gear at low rpm is sluggsih and at times choppy.. which gives a feeling lkke vehicle is having hiccoughs ... Does installing this ecu, smoothen that out...is the power delivery smoother ?
Yes definitely if you install this ECU and put it on the P1 mode which is Med Performance mode then the rpm rise is super smooth as well as lets say you are crossing a speed breaker but haven't shifted to 1st gear and continuing in 2nd gear itself then rpm will quickly rise up giving you almost no Turbo lag feel, overall your car will feel lot more responsive and lighter / quicker on accelerator inputs
Yes the accelerator pedal delay feeling is still there but the initial rpm is higher by around 300-400 rpm so let's say you approach a speed breaker and go to first gear, before installing this ECU my Altroz Diesel used to have a super shitty and sluggish pickup and then suddenly it used to go like rocket, now after installing this if I keep my car in P1 mode i.e Med Performance mode then the transition from lower rpm to higher rpm is very smooth but also quick no lag feeling
