Hello! Welcome to my Pokémon card channel. I upload vlogs surrounding my casual approach to collecting Pokémon cards. I try to do a little bit of everything from pack openings, traveling for pack hunts, opinion pieces, and sharing my collection.
Shoutout to Eleine for the awesome header and PFP! Go check out her art!
Great question, tbh I’m probably one of the worst people to ask hahaha. I’m all about team rip it. With time, I’d say all ETBs/products rise in value eventually!
my pet deck that i've done fairly well in tournaments because it's unknown and it's only single prizers is frosslass munkudori and hisuan arcanine with a gapejaw bog to accelerate play. pretty much have frosslass damage munki to enable free attack with arcanine and move damage off munki to targets.. does fairly well for sounding odd. setup can be jank at times but that's every deck! if you'd like a list i could send one. definitely a fun one even if it's just for a tcgl game or 2

I appreciate the breakdowns of how some cards may be implemented in a deck! Super useful for less experienced players like myself. And I have some Shrouded Fable, but figured I'll just wait for the ETB at this point.
Good job, i am also building a natdex binder, and i am 61percent complete! Im just enjoying the slow progress and not stressing out on the process, i started 2 yrs ago.
Better deck than I could probably put together in that span of time (I know, thats a low bar). Keep refining it and try again! The general strategy seems sound.
After being a magic player for years getting into this game is pretty refreshing. I like how you build around a certain Pokemon, it’s been alot of fun even though I’m getting straight up bodied every game. 😂
Even though I get bodied at locals and online, I’m still having a blast hahaha. Glad you’re enjoying the PTCG! Lots of my friends love the simplicity of it compared to Magic
I know I’m late but I’m looking for a comedic/trollish playmat, as I’ve got a few normal ones and I wanna get a funny one. What would be the best places?
Thanks for watching! Honestly, I’ve had success with Etsy, it’s just a matter of making sure the artist is legit. I’ve seen my local shops sell some joke playmats- you can try and see if they have a discord and ask if they have any available.
I appreciate the kind words! I’ve been collecting for a couple of years, it’s been such a fun journey. 151 is such a fun set to collect, but I’ve been on a cold streak with that set 🤪
One thing i learned from playing TCG's. Watch whats coming in later sets. Watch the Japanese Meta. if you see something is being played there becose of a set that will be coming out here soon. you can Pick up cards that will go up in price in a few months for super cheap.
Play in real life tournaments folks, online isn’t the same at all. Play the meta, and play real people in front of you, it helps you get better where Pokémon live doesn’t help you, reading opponent etc. My local store charges $12 for entry but you win $10 for each round won and $5 for tied rounds. My locals is 4-5 rounds, so you can leave with a lot more than you paid to go.
Have you played in person? It’s such a different ball game in my opinion. Pokémon is definitely easy to pick up. I appreciate the low cost to get into the competitive scene too.
@@Julnlecs86 I think I have to disagree with the dependent on luck statement, no offense. You still need proper decision making and strategy on how to play around with the opponents deck and how to increase the chances of you getting the cards that you need to win the game in certain situations.
