9:49 Yeah...I was FLOORED that they did this plotline. The Mutant Massacre is one of the worst moments in X-Men history & they didn't baulk at the horror that happened. While not graphic, it lets you see the desperation & hopelessness everyone felt in that moment.
You mentioned you're having trouble with the idea that a serial killer feels they need to treat the killing similarly to a hobby or a job that they want to get good at. It's true, though. In order to do their best, they have to put a lot of focus into it, or they might get caught. It's the same to them as art, or like you said, a hobby. Or a career. If you want to do something right, you have to have a commitment to it. Very disturbing, but accurate.
Now consider going back to Warriors (Imagine Dragons) their post-apocalyptic trilogy, followed by this one, and then Seven Nation Army. Then perhaps, Nothing Else Matters (Metallica), and In The Air Tonight (Phil Collins), Creep (Radiohead).
This whole show from the two nights is incredible and very well done. It perfectly showcases their forte which is performing live. Pick a song, any song. Dust to dust, 23, Evolve, Narcisista with Pau's drum teacher sitting in on drums😉
I don't really get...I mean...Abigail is underaged, and obviously under the control of her dad, I don't know what age he started using her as lure, but...in my country she wouldn't really get a a severe punishment for that, probably trauma aid and psychological help and analysis and all that, but it wouldn't be considered being her fault really. I'm guessing it's different in the US? Always wondered about this.
Here is a link to an interview and concert of Angelina performing 7th Heaven and Million Miles, with her telling us the reason she wrote the songs! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bnd-DkPzTPw.htmlsi=SfXCc1_PAe7lHRd-
The little girl in this is Angelina's sister Juliette, her constant companion! Grandmother Mer Zamani is the producer on this video! The setting I've heard is an antique store in LA that are friends of the family!
Just love you and your reactions, they are always honest and right on point! Angelina does a beautiful cover of Whitney while as always making it her own! I think you might also like the cover of this by Brazilian tenor Gabriel Henrique, he sings it in Whitney's original key and finishes with a higher key than Whitney while managing to still carry the weight of a male voice! He explores his range even more with his cover of I Want to Know What Love Is with Coral Black to Black on a rooftop live!
I feel you would like two of her new songs she wrote to bring encouragement to others, Million Miles is one she wrote after the passing of her grandfather with a your never alone message, the second one is 7th Heaven encouraging is to live with hope snd to love the person looking back at you on the mirror, both great songs! I love the 7th Heaven official music video where she has some fun on the kitchen, great to see her being a teen!
That was grandmother Mery Zamani a famous poet and painter, who experienced success at age 9, along with her mother Sara Astar and sister Juliette that they kept panning to during her performance! By the way when you reacted to Spell On You, that was uncle Mike, her Manager, that was laughing at the script Angelina had written for her performance of Spell! That is the cast of support she has! To documentaries on Angelina that are good, The Angelina Jordan Story Born to Sing the early years, and the latest on that Sara Astar produced, 10 Years in the Making which finishes with her age 18 Headline performance at the Westgate Hotel in Las Vegas!
Gloomy Sunday was just a horrible sound system, yes that was her mother Sara Astar, Bang Bang was a better sound system! Her appearance on The View at age 8 is the best representation of her early talent singing Fly Me To The Moon!
I know this video came out years ago, but I've been binging Hannibal reactions, and it is SO refreshing to watch one where the person reacting actually GETS IT. I've seen way too many people think Hannibal is running a serial killer enterprise, or that Hannibal was the Shrike and pinned it on Hobbs, but you catch all the subtext so easily and it is so good to watch😭
Child's doesn't kill Mac because everything is burnt and when it assimilates someone it rips through their clothes. If he kills Mac then there are no clothes left in the ruins for it to wear. A rescue team finding them like they are won't be suspicious but finding a naked dude or two they would be.
Windows ran cuz he was the last one with the keys and freaked out that Gary might remember. You can hear the keys hit the floor when he finds Bennings being assimilated.
How are you blaming Magneto for Scott snapping??? Scott literally just lost his son, and he didn't need Magneto to feel resentment about humanity looking down on mutantkind despite all the X-men have done for them. Also, Magneto is not manipualting Rogue. Stop infantilizing her. In the comics she ends up with him in a few timelines, they have a son together. Its a viable relationship choice.
I l ok s Tarja and floor, Annette isn’t bad to me. Just jo where near the original and now .for me, no matter the singer the rest of the band and Marco is what made the band, and without Marco, to me they are lost. Not the same. Not as good and never will be, I’ve listened to new stuff, is good, but not epic, not the same and never will be. Sadly. I could do nightwish. With Marco and whatever “lead singer” they could drum up, as Marco can and is lead lead singer of other/his own band and has been for decades now, like 3 of them. The other members and Marco are the glue, the real deal, the main attraction, the lead singer is the sprinkles on top of the amazing thing they once were, now. They are a sad remnant of what they were once were. The sound. The drive, the spirit isn’t there, with Marco gone, at least to me.
Oh I rewatched the movie after I seen this performance and watched the credits lol I believe there was three people for this vocal performance in the movie. I feel like she did better than all of them
