Recumbent trike rides using the Sunseeker Fat Tad recumbent trike. If the trails or conditions are not right for the trike, we will go exploring with the fat bike or the Honda Monkey Bike. It doesn't matter what machine we choose, Tilly the Chihuahua is always up for a new adventure.
You are the first person other than myself that I've seen that has a JBL Charge mounted to their handlebars. Where did you get your mount? I fabricated one out of aluminum diamond plate. I just got a 300L Rally but I've yelled at anyone who even tried to imply that I might have sold my 2019 Monkey. Bumble Bee ain't going nowhere. Hell I'm still thinking about getting a red one too.
@dangareau my speaker, the JBL flip4, is mounted on the handle bar with two bicycle water bottle holders. One cage is using the two mounts. Perfect setup for on the trails.

@leeinwis I sold our "real" dirt bikes and roadbikes and ended up with the monkey. It is easy to handle, and we are in no hurry. 😄 Multiple hour tours with Tilly are quite comfortable. Thanks for your comment!
Our average speed is only around 21 mph. It will go 200+ miles on a 1.5 gallon fill of gas. That's 9.5 hours of engine running. Our longest trip so far was 160 miles in 7.5 hours. There was plenty of reserve when we were done. The mountain bike costs a lot more to power it. Hamburgers are not cheap. 😁 Thanks for your comment.
Lightweight ripstop nylon fabric. No sewing involved. The seams are glued together with Dap Weldwood contact cement. 1/8" aluminum rod hoop. A single aa battery flashlight shining down inside supplies the light. They are much quieter and less drag than a large flapping flag.
Tilly led me to this canyon after we gave up on the other trail. It is a scaled down version of the big Gunnison River type Canyons. Thanks for your comment. I thought the same.
We are settled in here for now. Off-road triking and biking are the big attractions for us. Some of our adventures are nearly 8 hours long. The trikes are still the best machines for relaxing and exploring.
Hi friend I am Brazilian and I love travels by trike and I want to go to Uniteds states by trike in special Alaska I have 78 years old can you send me a american flag I pay contact ne please thank you good luky
@mihkhailgaudette4370 SW Colorado for now. Less humidity. Feels better here, except for the noonday sun, but we took care of that with the canopy. Tilly does enjoy the adventures. She does a lot of her own exploring on the end of the 14 foot leash, but we never film it because it's kind of slow.🥱 Thanks for your comments 🙂
Wonderful ride. Makes me want to get a Monkey or a TW200 to do little trails. Although I live in the desert so I'm sure any little Chihuahua I take won't be happy in this summer heat. LOL!
Tilly keeps me in check. With her riding along, I try not to be stupid and take chances. We always take a bottle full of ice water. She stays under the umbrella out of the sun and enjoys the adventures. Thanks for your comments.

100° in Western Colorado is more comfortable than 90° in Minnesota. The humidity was only 10% today. With the canopy, noonday rides are quite comfortable. Tilly's umbrella keeps her happy.
Thanks for the comparison, that was good insight. I had an '18 DL1000 and currently have a '20 1050XT. I am considering adding the 800DE as a bike for BDR's and off-road adventures. The 1050XT will remain my ling distance touring bike
