HI it hasn't launched for this year yet but will do in august. Are you on the mailing list? You'll find out when it launches and get a free ebook for bag making too! www.subscribepage.com/studio-sew-sew
Hi Emma, The links to some of the video's in the discription below are saying the video's are no longer available. I was looking for the one for the sew in foam but can't see it.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention - I have added the sew in foam to the description now. I think maybe you were looking at this before it went live? They will all work now (BUT if they don't please do let me know!) Many thanks again
Thanks so much Cynthia, thank you for watching and I can't wait to see your version! Please do tag me if you make it or share it in the Facebook group :)
@@Studio7t7 I would not mind paying or leaving a tip for the pattern. I just do not do social media, nor like it. I like your instructions as they are put together well. Thank you for your quick response.
This is very similar to a pattern callled the Hemingway pouch. It is online and includes 4 sizes. This is done with regular quilt batting or uses a foam type batting / that is used in purses. The pattern is $12 US. The largest sizes are used for tablet or laptop sleeves. Thanks for your demonstration. I should add that it is a quilted fabric bag rather than the vinyl you showed. God bless
i think this tutorial/pattern is great! the pdf instructions are a bit confusing though as someone whos first language isnt english, i think it would be good to clarify that 'medium interfacing' and 'fusible fleece' is the same thing, as the instructions make it seem like theyre two separately needed parts of the pattern!
Sorry you’re having issues… They are two different things. Medium interfacing makes the fabric stronger and slightly stiffer and stops any stretch. Meanwhile fusible fleece is like batting or wadding that has a heat activated glue. Hopefully this video will help with what I mean by this; ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0HfM-wMU66c.htmlsi=AdEz0xLk1yhrXhkU
Great tutorial. I like Kam snaps too, however for a luggage tag I wouldn't want it to unsnap and lose it. I think I would put a rivet there and then use a keyring or carabiner to attach it to my suitcase. Just a thought. Kam Snaps are wonderful for so many uses.
Just like heirloom appliqué, but I didn’t think it could be done with vinyl/faux leather. I like to heat vinyl a little before turning it inside out if it is stiffer than what you have used, which has more give than a marine vinyl.
Great tip. I know I will be giving this a try. I am actually in the process of making some strap and handle connector templates for myself so this will be a great technique to use on some of them. Thanks!
This will be perfect for holding small knitting needles, seam rippers, and the like so they don't keep getting lost in my sewing basket. And I see in the thumbnails above that you've got a pattern for a lizard version, too. I know someone who would be highly amused to receive one as a gift from me, so I'll be checking that video out later today when I have a bit more time. Thank you for posting! EDIT - OH, it's a dinosaur, not a lizard. Well, I have a niece who loves dinos, which means I still have a reason to make one :-)
Hi Susan, thank you! Aww yes it would be perfect for that! People have made them for all kinds of goodies. Have fun sewing and I look forward to seeing either the shark or the Dino or both! Please do share in my free Facebook group: facebook.com/share/S3axxNab8c9oKNcF/?mibextid=K35XfP
Can’t wait for next months bag makers bag! It will be my 2nd one. Thank you for sharing all these lovely bags that can be made. I think you should design a really good purse for holding credit cards, notes and zipper bit for coins. One that doesn’t get the coins stuck in the corner that you struggle to get out!🤔
@@CathyDavies-nr1cd I will have to have a think on that! I guess a rounded zipper pocket would help with the coins getting stuck in the corner? Have you tried the Smighty purse yet? You could easily make the coin part with rounded corners!
@@Studio7t7 Ooh no I haven’t. Sorry only just seen your message been having some real off days this week with my CFS!😣. I will look into that one. Thank you for the recommendation.😃
Beautifully filmed video! You were marvelous! Thank you so much for making everything very clear! I will be making my fist quilt and everything before now was very scary. YOU make this project fun, cheerful and I am filled with hope and confidence that I can (with your help, and my beginner sewing books) make my memory quilt a reality! Thank you.
What a lovely comment thanks so much for this. Good luck with your quilt I’m sure it’ll be amazing! This is one of my earlier videos so it’s great to see it is still helpful.
Oh my! This video is AWESOME & definitely very timely. This is the perfect way to enclose raw edges without adding a lot of bulk to the strap material. Thank you for sharing this! New subscriber definitely!
Hi this one I bought in Japan but I did make some for my bag makers boxes. If you would like to purchase some (polyester bonded tex 35- suitable for all machines!) you can email me info@studio7t7.co.uk thanks ☺️
