I'm still learning how to make interesting videos so some of the videos on this channel may be boring. But if you stick around long enough, I might become your best friend
Great video, but I will not side with everything he said though, there are a lot of educated Africans who are not even getting jobs and each year more people are still graduating from the universities adding to these numbers, of course why would you want to leave your country if who own a good business, have your own cars and apartment. We are where we are now bcos of bad political leadership, these European and Americans are easily able to move and establish companies in African bcos of the support they have from their government, is that the case with the average African? Just a question to ponder over
I believe that our problem as Africans it's the African countries borders created by the oppressors..African countries should do like the EU making easy for African youth to seek opportunities other African countries especially those from conflict and war zone countries..at the transit area of Addis Ababa international airport i have met a young African fellow from Eritrea he told me that he's been stranded at transit area for 14 days because Uganda migration wouldn't allow him to enter Uganda legally.. He chose Uganda instead of Libya where black African migrants and asylum seekers are sold like sheep and get tortured and African countries has disappointed him
*Canada and the United States of America should drastically reduce all immigration, from India and all Asian Nations except Japan and South Korea* Africans need to become adults and fight for and fix their own Nations.
When you say foreigners come to Africa and find gold that’s because they have enough start up capital to cover even loses should the business doesn’t start of well. Being an African black child you need to come from a good family or have connections to get capital or sponsorship,so there is no way you can compare an African child with an American citizen who can start working at the age of 16 and build up a credit score that can qualify them a bank loan to start up a business. Honestly if I am a doctor in Africa definitely I will never sell to relocate it’s not worth it, life abroad is cold and expensive the more you earn the more you pay. So though we have gold in Africa not everyone can get the shovel to dig. Just like Europeans wanting to retire in Africa (some) they realize they need the warmth and close community to grow old in something they don’t really have much back home. So to conclude we all have our reasons of doing things they might not be the best but if you don’t try you will never know.
Wars are no reason to flee! America has had several wars on their soil, and were never known for fleeing, but picked up weapons to fight! Just because there is a war on one part of the country, that doesn't mean there is war in the whole country! America has natural disasters, too! We stick it out and clean up and rebuild! Economic reasons aren't an excuse to flee to use up other countries ' resources! America calls itself a Christian country, and I guess when the going gets tough, we pray! GOD wants us to stand still! Use HIS STRENGTH, WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE when Americans tap out! We don't flee! You left out: your leaders suck!
Very well made video. However, it does not address the real issues. Why are Africans leaving their countries? Only a few badly advised Africans leave because of what the west has to offer. Most of them leave because life is untenable where they are. Why is that? Apart from economic reasons, war and climate change, this video does not address that. Was it by error or in bad faith? The idea that you get from watching this video is: ‘You little Africans be content with what you have. You may be poor but that’s how God intended it for you.’ From the age of 16, this content creator has been struggling with the BS he read in a book. What was the intent of the author of that book?
I am an American and all for the idea of living/moving abroad to improve one's life. What I can't wrap my head around is, unless you are desperately poor or seeking asylum and the move is a matter of life or death, why would you uproot yourself and move to a new country without visiting a few times/spending an extended visit to feel it out. I understand this can be expensive but if you are making a major life altering decision there is a cost associated with being able to make a good choice.
African soil is the most fertile on this planet and it has abundance of natural resources. If you remove all the super corrupt ministry and government Africa would be a superpower
I do agree with some things but here is another situation a case where your talents are wasted in your home country and opportunities are given to a few. It may force you to think to try elsewhere
True Poverty is knowing about Education but never being able to Access said Education. I can't respect Black Africans who come to Canada to be Slaves. There are NO Black African professionals in this Country who are trustworthy. For the past 25 plus years Canada has actively been migrating black Africans into Canada. There have been No Doctors, No Teachers, No Dentist, No Accountants, No Small Business Owners all the while these individuals have been given opportunities to FREE EDUCATION. Canadian West Indian/ Canadian Black Foster Children and The Indigenous are not given this much help. Black Africans in Canada are becoming a Social Services Burden. Too many children that are dependent on welfare. These multiple children then produce another generation of Welfare Recipients. Also Canada gives these Black Africans in many cases FREE Citizenship through Sponsorships. So when the world is given to you and you still fail whose fault is that?
África is shit, its more like a survival game, Africans are selfish to themselves and the corrupt officials, and you go with the argument of the "riches of the continent" cuz only 1 or 2 percent of the continent get to use those riches
The problem with us Africans is that we have a "hot weather" mentality, if we had winter and autumn we would be more motivated to work and build better. Our climate really shapes our mentality about life. We should put ourselves in the shoes of a person living in a hostile climate and environment.
Well produced and intentioned video but you’re only presenting one side of the migration equation and not leaving room for others. For example you’re only showing testimonials from those Africans who seemingly could not make a decent living and find happiness in the West. What about those the vast amount of those who did? You have no sympathy for those seek economic opportunity elsewhere? Why do you think they leave in the first place? I just came back from my native Congo-Kinshasa after a 36 year absence and yes there is wealth and opportunities etc but mostly for the very few elites. The average Congolese struggles to make a living and be paid a decent wage. Bro don’t get me started lol. Is fleeing Africa for the West the only and best solution? Probably not but at the end of the day, you have to take chances and live with the consequences. Good or bad.

Great video explaining the situation because as an American and dealing with lots of Nigerians and Africans in the past they always with scam for so many years in decades people started waking up and learning for so many years they started telling other people and and other people started doing the same thing in America so now that everybody has woken up those things have changed and now everyone is complaining about it
One of the reasons being the crabs in a barrel mentally.. They hate progress among their own people... If the envy.. Hate.. Jealousy and greed is like a disease there's no hope... The leaders are the same bunch....
Truth is there are opportunities everywhere you are. And there are a lot of immigrants who have done better abroad than their home countries. I guess it depends on the type of person you are, not everyone is supposed to or would like to start a business. Some just have skills to sale and Africa may not just be paying for those skills at a competitive rate. So it is different strokes for different folks. Nice documentary but appears to be very jaundiced but that is fine as it is another perspective to the issue.
Those number emigrating to the West are untenable to the West. Africa has more resources and manpower. You don't have to develop technology it was created by the West. 42,000,000 in one year? That is 2/3 the population of Italy. You are not entitled to that of others. Africans have been living there for 250,000 years, Why have you not figured things out?
