My buddy Josh Benware gave me one of those cheesy vertical grips that you push the button and the legs pop out like the blade on an out the front switchblade and I thought it was a gimmick until I tried it. I love it and use it for almost all of my bench work. Lots of times I slap it on what I am hog hunting with too.
You really try and paint a pretty picture for the 308 just to try and talk down on the 6.5 Creedmoor. 😅 the reasons you are mentioning doesn't make sense. I own both 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor so it really doesn't matter to me because I have the best of both worlds. You must be talking for people who just own one rifle, this day and time almost everyone has more than one rifle. So, I hope what you said makes you feel better because it hasn't changed my mind on the 6.5 Creedmoor.
Automotive Brake parts cleaner is the best and fastest thing to clean your dies with. Then blow them out with an air compressor. Mix up a 20:1 mixture of RCBS Case Lube - 2 with 99.9% alcohol. Yes I said 20 to 1 ratio. Use a good quality mister bottle to spray the cases. I stand up the cases and spray downward to ensure some of it gets into the case mouth, then I toss them in a plastic back and shake them gently. I then open the ziplock bag and allow the alcohol to completely evaporate. Don't use anything less than 99.9% alcohol. This RCBS case lube-2 is water soluble, meaning you don't have to wet or dry tumble your cases again. Just rinse them in warm water and the stuff comes right off.. UNLIKE Lanolin which is sticky and terrible to get off of and out of the cases. I've not ever had a stuck case with this mixture. I used to do 15:1 ratio, but I found that even that was to much lube in the FL resizing die so I switched to 20:1 and never looked back.

That works. The FedEx guy came to my place yesterday. He barely made it back in his truck. My Anatolian came around the side of the house and scared the hell out of him apparently.
