I wouldn't complain if that gold '58 Thunderbird or that red flamed '60 Elky was sitting in my garage. Thanks for posting the video. Enjoyed watching it.
Silver Cadillac with rail-job towing behind is kind of hard to beat. Definitely allot of bitchin rides. …what about that chopped Nova Chevy II wagon or that Camaro roadster??? Wow JT
Music is added when the music in the background is copyrighted and has to be muted. It can always be bypassed by hitting the mute button on your device. I’d prefer background music to all of the partial random conversations that are in this one.
@@Royboyproductions I prefer a muted video to one with goofy music but much would prefer one with the sound of the cars or the atmosphere of the event. J M H O
I only just now found this video, but that’s my 1957 red and white Oldsmobile in the background at 3:49!! Awesome surprise for me to see in this video!
Travis, great sombrero, great coverage of the show ! I took a rain check this year, so I live vicariously through your video coverage. The park commission looks to have given up on the lawn there, a while ago.
Yup, too many people have wimped out over the years or decided that the best way to protest there being too many non customs is by not bringing their customs thereby making it worse.
Not as much as we'd all hope, but yes there are some younger people showing up. A couple big hurtles are that the stuff that we like is expensive to get into these days, plus my generation (I'm 50) is building more stuff from the 80's and 90's now than anything else, although muscle cars are still very popular with my age group. I just have to keep reminding people to help young folks however you can when they want to be into customs and hot rods.
Near impossible to pick a favorite. Stand outs imho include… Red n gold ‘58 Chevy at 5:50 Gold phone booth Ford truck Cherry red Continental Orange n Cream GMC Pick up Obviously the famous’57 Ford at 10:20 Blue ‘40 at 10:50 Omg 😱 too many to choose from Great editing job and music Super cool show 😎👍 Thanks for sharing RB
jakespeed, that '58 is a later Joe Bailon build......a tribute to the original built around 1960. The original burned up in the mid '60s. A guy from Denver, Colorado is the caretaker/owner of this tribute.
I wish I could too! Unfortunately limited funds and vacation days at this point. I'll be in FL with my folks, sister's family & wife for Christmas week but won't have much time to do anything car related except go to Don Garlits on the 21st of Dec. They already have the whole week planned and that was the only time I could carve anything out for me lol
@@willstansbury3747 actually, it would’ve sucked with the wind noise, random people talking in the background and then music that would’ve had to been muted because of copyright issues. But thanks for your opinion!
Thank you for posting. I was bummed i had ro miss my first Roundup in the past 10 years, but my bank account just dried up due to life. Here's to hoping things change by next year's show! Glad you got the Fairlane going...Cheers!
Good to see the younger generation keeping it real at the Old School! (Although I still see a lot of Grey Beards in the background...) These small, informal get-togethers are where it's at, even today!
