Videos from Precision Farming Dealer - the farm equipment dealer's informational clearinghouse on precision farming technologies and their application, as well as how to market, sell and service for increased customer value.
you what to see what it does in an honest field.... NATHAN from BORDER VIEW FARMS (here on youtube) bought one and has the well drilled and the HQ HOME point setup (mostly finished, power by generator for now) BUT HE HAS THE SYSTEM AND IT WILL BE USED THIS YEAR IN HIS IRRAGATED CORN!!!
Hello Nico - We are working to launch this Fall our Elayer Cloud Data Center. This will allow uploads of all job files to our cloud. Within this cloud environment, we have a conversion tool that will allow all jobs to be converted into Shape (.SHP) format. This will allow files to upload into software such as AgLeader SMS, Climate Library, and Trimble Farmworks. Additionally, in fall 2024, our Graham Command Pro hardware will be climate compatible so you are able to plug the Drive Puck into our hardware to allow Climate sync.
Great attitude and approach to precision customers. Too often there’s tech sold and never really utilised properly as the customer hasn’t got what then needed.
im unable to find the cost of unit with the modules -- but i would guess that a minimum of 15000 acres of open field would be required -- seeding/spraying and harvesting in 1 machine unbelieve able
Very well could be water in a coax connector which may have dried out by now. I would keep an eye on it. Maybe a migration of coax center conductor to shield. Especially in a sharp bend. You can have the coax “swept” by any reputable tower company and that will tell the full story.
I had an 80 acre field 1320 ft by2640 ft. 11 years ago .. the irrigation well was on the south side of the field. I built a perimeter road around the field and basically broke the field in half with a north south road from the well across the field was then leveled at 2 percent from that middle road to on a line east and a line west... basically turning the 80 into two fields of 40 acres + or -- it can now have rice or corn grown either side of the well... rice in paddy's and furrow irrigated row crops..
Hi i have a problem with my Quantix Drone every chek is perfect and ok but when i click ok to fly throws an error 00008000 and stops with all red lights on. Any suggestions?
Very true. Support is key but the value someone sees from a purchase needs to be evident from the off and not just based on support. In the UK it’s going to be a difficult few years with European payments diminishing and precision Ag is going to play a vital link in the food production chain. Good vid !
That's great, long ago.. but I see the isoblue project is still going up to date. I need to archieve two goals firstly: Goal 1: As soon as any vehicle is connected to the tractor it needs to know everything about it: what it is and what is has (whatever amount of pumps for whatever with whatever fluid level etc. Goal 2: The tractor goes with each vehicle its lines by itself guided by GPS, turning & ranking included. Is that possible using isoblue or is it "just" for data management? Thanks! Best, Chris
In my precision Ag career so far I have found that it is the small to medium farms who do more in terms of soil sampling for VR PK applications, vR seed and VR nitrogen. They have more ability to manage their 10-25 fields better and are generally not renting or contract farming land. My average customer size in eastern UK would be 150-200ha 400-500ac), but it is perhaps the larger farms who tend yield map.
I am a systems engineer for a company creating precision control systems. I really appreciate these perspectives, they're critical to giving the perspective of dealers, what's important to them and the mechanics of how their businesses work.
This is good stuff. I am doing a project to digitize and operationalize the solution in the palm oil plantation. We are proudly to able finish the phase 1 rollout implementation in 1.5 years.
Improve Yourself! It's interesting to follow you, but you need to bring the channel to the tops of RU-vid. The best service I've used to promote my channel was utify.io. I'm not technically savvy, but it's simple and inexpensive!. >L
Does the air pressure blowing down the seed tube ever have to be adjusted for different speeds or seed sizes? Is it just the same air that is holding the seed to the disc or a separate supply and psi level.
Yes, you have to adjust the air pressure regarding the TKW (thousand kernel weight), you can regulate it from 2.5 to 4 kpa depends on the TKW, heavier seeds needs more pressure. And there is only one fan that blow the seeds so, this means that the same airflow and pressure that holds the seed on disk, will blow the seed too.
