Thay fail all the time thay are good till they're not it's not if but when , and that's usually at the most unconvient time possible they are not reliable by any stretch of the imagination
I like that it's easy to install, but it really doesn't look good or very strong when he was sitting on it. How does it install if your stock bed is rusted out?
Finally guys that know how to go get cars / trucks thats junk using a rollback is the way to go. these guys that piss with trailers still have alot to learn.
Got my doubts that music was coming from the speakers in the truck and not from an overlay. Don't forget kids to add some sort of sound deadening /vibration dampener to the roof and to that gigantic piece of plastic and probably some sort of insulation to help with the summer sun if you live in the south or someplace hot!
I have a full set of these upper, lower and modular spindles. All went on without issue, alignment was easy, I’ve got about 500 miles on everything so far. Very happy with all parts.
How did you run the wires? I have one installed by previous owner and they removed the dome light and ran wires through there. I want to put the dome light back in.
Performance air cleaners have their pros and cons. Usually, the chrome air cleaners we buy for our trucks take in more under hood hot air but they are taking in more air overall than stock. Sometimes just getting more air flow (whether hot or cold) helps a lot. The stock air cleaner here doesn't appear to be hooked to an air intake tube going to the fender. In this case, the stock air cleaner is not only taking in hot air but less of it. I'm sure the Edelbrock air cleaner helped the engine breathe easier.
Have you ever came across a 12 bolt rearend that didn't have the 4 bolts on the axle ends holding the flange? I have a 12 bolt axle that I'm trying to do the disc conversion but when I got to the part of unbolting flange I saw it didn't have the 4 bolts rather the flange has splines holding it in place to the end of axle end housing.
Thanks for the assistance. I am mechanically inclined but this saved me from needing to have 3 arms and 100’s of swear words 😂 Took me hour and a half start to finish. Pretty impressed considering I am 50 and would say I am at an “intermediate” level automotive knowledge. Thanks for the help ❤
