Hey absolutely love this fan made intro good job absolutely love It. I was just wondering if you could give me permission to use this video for an upload of mine because I’m making a compilation of every intro of the series but a few of these games don't have an intro so instead, I used fan made intros like the devilleon7 fan made 2 & 7 intros. I will credit you on the description of my video for making this one. 😊
Lmao it killed the whole studio, needless to say my predictions for the game aged very poorly, I'd make an updated video but honestly I really would prefer not having to sink in anymore energy towards this trainwreck. It could've been good and I feel I gave the game a fair benefit of the doubt before release but inevitably the game managed to be everything everyone feared leading to what I hope to stay as the most poorly aged video on this channel.
I'm not opposed to any theories and this is a plausible one. I hope we get more Kashiwagi on Gaiden and on 8 because in 7 it was just "Oh look, a beloved figure from the past is alive, aaand that is all."
The first game I played was Yakuza 0, and when Kashiwagi kicked the table when Kiryu insisted on his plan, that was the first time I was intimidated by any character in the game. I like his 'tough love' persona.
Yeah actually, the story being paced like an episodic show where each character gets their own segmented episode that feel like great standalone stories (aside from Akiyama) that later tie in to one another in the finale and the end of their chapters was really intriguing. And THAT ENDING man, it really was clever how in a game about following ones dreams and not living in the shadow of other people's that Haruka makes the same choice Kiryu made at the end of the first game, quitting and running away after finding out they don't want the dream Kazama/Park left a foundation for and their family matters more to them, just when Kiryu is about to give up Haruka shows up and reminds him there's something to hold on for just like at the end of 1/Kiwami, its beautiful how it came together. Really was an insane undertaking to have THIS MUCH CONTENT and THIS MANY CITIES to explore in one game all with unique activities that show off the culture of those cities, osakan comedy, sushi restaurants, hunting in the mountains as a hermit living away from the city, and getting to feel how alive the setting is as you work in a cab business and meet the residents of the city making small talk on their ways to their mundane jobs before you clock out to hang out with your co workers after work. For a yearly release series the amount of life breathed into 5 was insane! That being said we're all open to our own opinions on media and I hope I answered your questions on what made 5 really good to me while I waited for 6 to release!
@@SitraSan Haruka choosing the most braindead option at the end of 5 pissed me off, and then 6 have to start and build upon that trashfire ending; i like 0-1-2-3-4 but 5 and 6 can eat my shít honestly
Kiwami 2 is the second worst game in the whole series mainly because it takes half a game for it to finally get going again and because of how it leads on into Yakuza 3 which is fucking bulshit why does Sayama go off to America I will never yet again be bothered by iki masho sadge.
I liked Y4, it was the first Yakuza game what have featured more than one protagonist, on top of that all of them were awesome. Akiyama, Saejima, that cop guy (his voce actor got cancelled for drug consumption sadly). Plot was moronic though.
I got to disagree with Fist of the North Star lol. Not a criticismjust me being a fan of it lol. If only it ran like Judgement. I'm hoping for another cross studio Like a Dragon game
Man... 😭 Lost Paradise gets hated so much! I think it's so unique and good! Not perfect tho, definitely much much better than people see it as. I feel as if that game has a slight problem called non-appropriate fanbase. I feel as if some of the people who got it marketed to them played it as Yakuza fans, not Hokuto No Ken fans. I feel as if the game 100% makes up for the forced substories or the grinding with it's amazing combat and great characters. A HnK fan can instantly recognise how well the characters we're made and how the story feels like something that could realistically be from Hokuto No Ken.
Yakuza 5 was just too much. Too many characters, Shinada sucked as a protagonist if compared to the others and most of all the villains. I don't even remember their names. That's how they're memorable.
Kiwami 2 was the weakest of the first three games (referring to 0, Kiwami and 2) and it was still pretty good. Yakuza 3 has so far been the worst and it STILL wasn't what I'd come close to calling a bad game. It made a simple "Save the Orphanage" plot blow up into something a lot bigger. Also got to see an old man throw a bull. Yakuza 4 was okay, just okay. It suffered from having to introduce 3 new characters into the story and divide the narrative between them, which detracted from the overall plot. If Dead Souls came to PC, I'd play it. As with all the other Yakuza games that'll likely never see a rerelease. Especially Judgement and Lost Judgement. Not sure what you're going on with Fist of the North Star. I've heard it's really good and is just more Yakuza.
Ok, but i actually enjoy yakuza 6, i love the ocean setting there, shooting fishes and stuff.. I live kiwami 2, fighting that man in black (korean gang) was the blast.. The dude even stronger than ryuji.. Actually i haven't finished the yakuza 7.. Ah the turn based RPG really killing the mood.. The mini game is fun tho, the can collecting feels like crazy taxi, and i live how characters interact with each others.. But the turn based rpg.. Really kill the mood.. And it comes from me someone who had finished pokemon & shin megami tensei games.
Bruh, i think you probably are an AI. Who in their right mind puts kiwami on par with 0? If not for majima everywhere, kiwami deadass make you want to drop the series.
Majima Everywhere is really the only unbearable part of that game mechanically wym? Gets incredibly annoying after you're in the S ranks, it expanded on 0s gameplay and set a foundation for literally every game that comes after narrative wise, also Nishikis downfall is an amazing addition to the story especially as a 0 fan.
Already said why for 4 in another reply, it's primarily story complaints. Never seen the issue with 3, it was actually the most fun game to play on legend for me, I love the old school feel the graphics give off and always have, love the little moments that highlight more of who Kazuma Kiryu is more than The Dragon of Dojima, feel like you learn more about the man than the legend for the first time, confronting the trauma of his past and accepting Kazama's passing, solid antagonist, amazing OST, the combat isn't problematic the blocking made it feel like the opponents were actually fighting back rather than incompetently taking every square square triangle combo I throw at them, especially in Mine's fight. Also this is the game that added KARAOKE, arguably the most iconic minigame in the series. Only real flaws I had with it were that you're way underpowered for the Tamashiro fight at the beginning and the fact that the minigames are busted both via PS3 and Remastered versions, even so they were still more functional than Y1 and 2's minigames. Overall been a good time every time I've played.
