McLaren_Media Because cars are better when you know how to shoot them. We create videos that show you how to fix, modify and run your car. Along with going to shows and making review videos there is something for all you petrol heads out there.
Here is a tip once you put the handbrake cable on the brake shoe then put the top spring on then the adjuster then the bottom spring they should hold themselves together enough so put it onto the backplate placing the side with the wheel cylinger starting eoth the handbrake side put that on fullyso the top and bottom is in place and put ita retaining clip on then all you need to do is use a screwdriver (anything that you can use to pry) pry the bottom of the other side into place and then out the retaining clip on (it is possible to do on your own)
I cannot seem to get the boot in flush. Piston goes in fine. Tried pressing I'm and hammering in but no use. Any advice? Don't want to start filing down the caliper.
thanks for the video just bought a 07 fiesta style and tried to put fuel in and have that problem managed to get it open but is tight going back to close will try it

You can drop the hose into any body of water (lake, pond, pool, bucket ect). There's a filter at the end of it to stop debris from getting through. There is a new and stronger version though. It has a metal rod instead of plastic and is more powerful.
Doesn't show what was used in order to replace the top spring, makes it very complicated to replace the top spring not knowing exactly what tool was used to do it.
Tbh they were just off ebay www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271137198712?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=awNQcFpuSBu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=IZaIq_2cRPi&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
For the money you've spent you might as well have fit the ST150 rear calipers, in addition you only need new stub axles, brake hoses, handbrake cable. So much easier to service.
Great video mate. I've got a mk6 1.6tdci and watching your videos has given me the confidence to just have a go at replacing things. I have 207,000 miles rn and the rear drums are next after the front end suspension and lower wishbones. What were the drums you got? Can't get a straight answer out of Autodoc, too many options for them all to be right 😅
Yeah thats great to hear! And they are just pagid think from GSF or euros cant remember now i ordered them ages before making this video but having the bearings already fitted saved so much time
I have a mk6 zs petrol, and lately it will go into 4th and 5th easily, but there’s absolutely no power in them, once they go into those gears the speed hardly moves. Would it be a safe bet that it’s a clutch issue?
i had a problem with my handbrake cable on my mk6 fiesta , the nylon grommet wore out and it wouldn't hold in place, i just had to replace a small part of the cable , thanks for the videos, please do film your ongoing fix of your handbrake,
Looks awesome!💪- I like your style and type of modifications to your Z👍 Being a new subscriber to your channel; I really enjoy your (build) videos and your "authentic format"😊 Keep building, modifying, and uploading, cheerZ from Denmark😊
Brilliant work, very well done. I can highly recommend PPF for the leading edges of the side skirts and rear spats as not painted the stone chips will murder the finish!! ask me how I know 😢
