At this point in time I keep quail, chickens (chooks), turkeys, ducks, geese, rabbits, cows, pigs, alpacas, guinea fowl and our awesome Maremma guardian dog (named Ghost).

Does this way make unwanted worms in your bin?? I have soaked the manure before adding it to the bin and it made some white worms. I threw it anyway and didn't try the experiment again 😅
Lucky you.. in Kentucky we are just getting our American Chestnut to comeback.. blight took them out in the 1940’s but they are slowly making a comeback 💪🏻🙏
Thanks for the info. Us new to quail I am coming to find out need the fine details to do this right because they are fragile birds…... My first flock ever and I added 12 to 3 without blood shed from 2 different breeders. The 3 I had for 2.5 weeks by themselves. I used this method per directions of another youtuber. It really works well.
You have a lovely farm! Oh, dear Gods....it's a boy. That's the scariest cloaca I've ever seen. Hahaha they know goodies are kept in bags, just as our dogs and chickens recognize a snack baggie in an instant! Well if you dump your potting soil, they'll spread it around! Well, they say...love is love! 😂 Deer with the zoomies! The ostrich is over it. LOL My chickens would peck the dogs if they made too much noise or fuss. Thanks for sharing!
