To dialate her pupils? I have blue eyes and ADHD... and walking around Afghanistan or Las Vegas in the day time is an absolute nightmare. I cant imagine having dialated pupils in Egypt.
Absolutely fascinating video. I love learning about where these strange ingredients come from, how they were discovered and collected. It's wild that many of these are something that smells awful at full strength but someone somehow decided to dilute it and found it actually smells quite pleasant.
EDIT: 2:42 - I fluffed my wording here (🤪😅) and would like to set the record straight… Maceration is the process of allowing a blended scent to settle and fuse together. The aging process I mentioned with Oud is actually known as ‘Maturation’, which is where an ingredient’s scent can change as it ages. This can happen after a product has been purchased but, as said in the video, is not something I would recommended waiting for. Apologies!
Excellent fog dispelling explanations and reasonable hints and rules. More of such videos would be most welcome. Especially those explaining particular notes accompanied with real world fragrance examples.
I believe that my 15 yr old allure by chanel is still ok , it still has a strong lasting scent. Its part of my perfune collection. Before products have best qualities unlike now.
Of course, not ALL brands are this meticulous… It’s up to your discretion to decide which you *believe in* I suppose… What brands do you think are worth (or not worth) it?
