My old channel got deleted again, this time without any warning. So all my personal playlists and such went with it, along with the thousands of public videos I published.
I plan on continuing to share some videos. Posting won’t be as frequent, mainly because I'm tired of uploading so many videos and then having them deleted by RU-vid. Right now, I post 3 videos every weekend, with the occasional middle of the week upload if something new comes along.
If you haven’t already, I would listen to audio of her full performance at His Majesty’s. It’s always hard to judge a 4 minute performance that’s done live outside of the theatre. To her credit, she had also done almost all of the shows that week as well. I think she took off the next day after this performance because she was just a bit overworked.
Strange thing happened today while I was at work me and my co-workers decided to listen to Opera today and all of a sudden this lady came out back in the work area in tears and asked me do I know who I'm listening to and I told her no and she said it was her son and she sat there for a minute and went back in the front and that's what brought me to this page May the most high bless his family r.i.p
@@peanuts8757 None of the videos/audios I have shared here were taken by me, so if I had gotten a video it wouldn’t be mine to share. And there are certain rules that have to be followed in order to get said videos/audios. Most masters won’t allow you to trade them privately to other people for several months, if at all. And even if you can trade them, they don’t want them online for several reasons. I have put some videos up on here, but most are old videos where the masters probably wouldn’t mind and have likely left the trading world.
Hello there, I’m from the USA and I’ve seen phantom several times. I was so happy to see this pop up in my feed. I hadn’t heard of either of these leads, but when I started watching it, I became entranced. I do not speak Spanish, which is a shame because I live in California and there’s so much Spanish-speaking here, but I never picked it up other than a few words. However, there is something very entrancing about hearing songs you know so well in English in Spanish, very lyrical and inviting. Mr. Barona has the most unusual voice. I’ve heard heard for a phantom in the sense that he has a warm and dreaminess to his tone, but clearly also has great vocal chops. Thanks much for this post!
I've always wondered who is the "hysterical" dancer screaming at 1:00:20 I actually love it ! For those who don't know: right after her scream, she realize she's in the middle of a performance and come back to the choreo with a fake smile as if no one saw anything. That's why the audience laughs !
I really like this cast. There's a real operatic quality to everything - the vocals and the pacing. I love that Olivia has the vocal control to place her notes without scooping - just like Sarah Brightman could - plus she's completely believable as a young opera singer, and probably the right age for the character.
Ashely has such a gorgeous voice in anything he performs. Deep, rich, velvety and always flawless. I will never understand why he has not been the principal phantom (besides playing Raul) and just a cover being better than most of the principal actors in the role. Thanks for sharing ❤
Robyns is seriously becoming my favorite Phantom. I can only imagine he’ll just get better as he goes on. I love how much emotion and vulnerability he brings to his portrayal.
@@phanoftheopera Oh man! Phantom actors really don’t stay for the long long term I guess. I’m glad I got to watch him before his departure. Such a fantastic actor. Hope to see him again some time in the future.
The norm seems to be around 2-ish years in London, save for people like Dave, JOJ, Earl, Scott Davies, etc. Jon certainly isn’t the only Phantom to do under that; he did about 15 months, so kind of in the middle. I had hoped he’d stay on a few months longer, if not another year. He will be missed! But very much looking forward to Dean in the part.
@@phanoftheopera How often do actors reprise their roles and don the mask again actually? I’m interested because I know majority of them are still active in other things and I’d love to seem return if only for a little while. I would be lying if I said I didn’t wanna see Ramin again, for instance, with his style developing with maturity lately.
Side note, I’m aware Ramin’s in Phantom Italy iirc (unless he stepped down there as well) but I sorta just meant coming back to the West End as a special thing. Though thats wishful thinking honestly, I’d just want a chance to watch Ramin live lol.
For some reason I really like how Ramin sounds here compared to most other Ramin performances. The Masquerade music box segment especially. Ramin always delivers though.
He was an understudy Phantom and Raoul, this particular video is from the US Tour, February 2005. One of several taken in Fort Meyers. He understudied on Broadway as well.
