I lived not far from Telegraph Canyon Road from 1964-2004. Remembered the rolling hills, cattle grazing, Archway Inn, and Southwestern College as some landmarks. Times were surely different and looking at this reminds me of a Chula Vista that once was and will never be again.

I remember the Dime Store (Po' Boy Sandwiches 💜), the record store where you had to walk down some stairs. Also, the deli where you had to walk down other stairs to buy delicious corned beef sandwiches 💕.
No woke Palestinian rainbow warrior alphabet community running around trying to tell us how to think, nor the amount of corrupt lying politicians trying to take every right that we have off of us.
OK, I worked at 111 N. Hill. The Civil Courthouse. 1. Downtown LA wasn’t clean! 2. There was traffic. As bad as today, because there were fewer freeways. 3. The smog was unbelievable. It physically hurt to inhale in the 50s-60s. 4. Then there were the riots. First one in 1964. Nostalgia is crack for old people.
