Can you upload a technically cleaner copy of this very important conversation about science and public policy/politics. This film stopped and broke up a few times - its worth hearing.
The distinct endearing incredulity that's evident in Oldman's voice when processing what Rickman knew is very bittersweet - I imagine there was an immense mutual respect between them, at minimum.
Amazing doco. Similar to how I ran a movie theatre but we were a smaller scale. Imagine having an ash tray at the back of everyone’s heads. Long Hair Blazes? We called cleaning ‘doing a pickup’ No sweeping. Vacuum after large items removed. Not hard to imagine why this massively resource and labour-intensive operation came to a grinding halt when people stopped attending due to those TV contraptions - tiny screens with fuzzy images and bad sound. Imagine adding up those crazy prices in a hurry and giving accurate change every time. Hard to believe one cashier sells a full house - we had 3-4 on busy nights. Sound buzzer - 1 buzz ↑ 2 buzz ↓ 3 Buzz Focus or something else. Loved the cleaning woman handing the manager a mangled rag. The manager has a John Cleese Fawlty Tower vibe. Thank Yuuuooow
Agreed. This whole mess could’ve been avoided if they had told the truth. I think they were worried they’d get axed anyways if they told Her because Frog might not believe them.
Here's the problem I have with this behind-the-scenes story of Chip and Dale: they knew each other LONG before the 80s and they make it like they only met each other IN the 80s. If you're gonna have an origin story of cartoon characters, at least get their continuity right.
This is one of the most unique and amazing films I have ever seen and I think I have seen nearly every version of a Christmas Carol put to film great job not for everyone but I immensely enjoyed it
