Like why even bother going in close which is legit your ONE weakness in that bankai, aside from maybe someone using a strong enough attack to just destroy its entire domain. But like, use ranged attacks so he cant retaliate? hello?
For those saying zaraki is not the strongest shinigami. 1. Kenpachi is not a name, its a title. The title of Kenpachi is for a reason. 2. Unohana was the second strongest shinigami and the first recruit by old man yama. 3. Old man yama stopped training zaraki after 1 day! Because he had to much potential and would become able to destroy more then just soul society. 4. Kid kenpachi Nerfed himself during the fight with unohana because he did not want unohana to die, because he had the most fun in his life with her. Unohanas biggest regret was not being strong enough, that because of her he started nerfing himself, looking up to her as if she was stronger, while she knew, she was not. So lets put this all together, and i am sure zaraki had the biggest potential to become the strongest shinigami. Even old man yama recognized this.. 🤷♂️
I'm not sure what the ratio is but you also have to remember that when it first aired, it wasn't in 16:9, so to force it to be 16:9 would "stretch" the picture with the result being that it looks off
Kenpachi is a genius. He was forced into a situation beyond his reckoning. And despite that,just by observing his opponent through the last sense he had left, he formulated a plan for victory

It's honestly absurd what Tite Kubo did to Tousen and other dark skin characters in Bleach. This battle was written very poorly. I like Bleach, but I notice things. Tousen during Soul Society arc is one of the coolest characters in Bleach and anime. This is also why I hate Zaraki, Hitsugaya, and Byakuya. These are the triple threat captains no one can beat because they are cool and popular. It's so annoying. Imagine if Tousen fought against someone else and actually used his brains. Think about it. What if Aizen had Suzumushi Tsuishiki? There are hundreds of different Kidō, Hadou, and Bakudo spells. All Tousen has to do against ANY opponent inside of his Bankai is use a binding spell such as rikujoukourou, and then blast kido attack spells from a distance. Not only that, but he has his projectile blades he used in Shikai. It makes no sense at all. He has flash step on top of that and knows where he is going when he moves. I like Gerard Valkyrie. He is one of my favorite Quincy. He destroys those three Captains. Hopefully they show more of him in the anime.
Just remember kenpachi didn't give a shit about komamura's appearance, tosen however literally called him ugly the first time he saw him. Yet komamura took offence to kenpachi. These 2ccaptains spent the entire series collecting Ls and then they both went out sad.
hands down onesided fight considering kenpachi's draw to ichigo now eye patch on never removed during this fight meaning kenpachi thinks they just fodder

Yumichika and Ikkaku saved Hisagi and Iba's lives, they had no chance against Zaraki, but by fighting the lieutenants they at least tested their own skills
They basically had to make Tousen character weaker bc he was too raw in terms of bankai… if he wasnt playing around he couldve delivered a death blow at the beginning before allowing Kenpachi to catch on. Same reason why Aizen knew tousen was his biggest threat in the beginning bc he couldnt use his sword against him either…
Ken's whole look is so cool he has a blindfold and his voice is cool and then his special movie locks people where he is always at in darkness blinds and makes people deaf, any other person this was done to combo would've automatically mean death and the maniac Tousen is such a cool villain to very hurt to injure bad
