I had same issue with my Journey.. ended up being the connection for the positive wire after the terminal was lose. Found it after replacing the battery that was still good …

My 2016 BuickVerano Battery Saver light came on. I went to autozone and they said it’s my alternator and my battery is charging at 85%… I took it to the dealership to have my alternator replaced.
