It's good to see an update! I hope Mama Bear can cope with everything going on. I couldn't imagine the worry. We just got slammed by hurricane Milton. The flooding in parts of Central Florida was/is insane. Our work garage is still flooded. We lost so much of our inventory. No final numbers, but it looks like around 60% of it is trash. Bright side, like you said, we're still on this side of the dirt!
Ive noticed people buy things they need more than things they want. Also noticed people want extremely low deals. I try to buy things for 1$ and sell them for 10-20$.
@billargueta5458 it's great if you can find deals like that. And in large quantity big dollar deals it's easier hence our pricing of 125k for 4.2 million in retail but it's long tail. My rule of thumb is to be able to double my money after fees if it's less than 30 days return. If it's over 30 days I like to make 3 to 4x my money after fees. But we buy alot because we pay more than alot of people. Hope you find some great deals. Thank you for watching
@@mr.buysalot i lost my job and ended up as a stay at home dad and started reselling last year. Hope to get on a higher level one day buy i know the road can be long and rough. Slow and stead is how the turtle won the race. Maybe I can get to your level one day. Good luck and god bless
Wow sounds like a great deal if I wasn't still selling 3-5k a month from this inventory just not the magazines which we pulled almost 2 years ago. But I do appreciate your watching and interaction... if you have a ebay I'd we would love to see it.. oh and tell us 5 items you plan to list after you post your ID so we know it's really you..Thanks for helping to educate us
A lot of the stuff is long tail but unique- 5k to clean out 😮yeah ok… between listing and moving around he’s got a lot more into that … there’s a lot of good value in pictures - documents etc just takes time …at $2 a piece easy over 250k - problem is most resellers tight on cash . Big resellers are focused on modern stuff … several whatnot shows he could do several thousand..
Miss your auctions. And Kim, Don't stress. Joining the Army right out of HS was the BEST decision I ever made. It instilled in me the discipline I needed for college and life.
How about auction directly from his booth and take a cut of the sale for selling it for him. You would not be on the hook for the items that people are not interested in.
@janalatham8840 that's a great idea but in Pennsylvania you are required to have an auctioneers license if selling other people's items. So even if I use whatnot who has a blanket license I would need to be selling on a Sunday as that's the only day the market is open. I would love to do it that way though.. Great suggestion and I appreciate it. Thank you
Sorry Brian. Unable to make the purchase we talked about but wanted to comment here so you knew I watched your video. Best wishes for the liquidation of your Pennsylvania stock.🩷🩷🩷🩷
Great deals. Brian, I still have ALL the boxes in my house that I purchased when you first bought the Y2K. I will list them some day..LOL I DO WANT TO SAY THAT THE QUALITY OF THE CLOTHING IS BEYOND WORDS -- THEY DO NOT MAKE CLOHING LIKE THIS TODAY. ANY BUYER WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED -- IT IS A ONCE IN A LIFE TIME OPPORTUNITY FOR THE CLOTHING LIKE THIS. Good luck Brian !!!!
I'm currently in Pennsylvania.... Totally the trashiest flea markets I've ever seen.... I've been the only person that pretties the local markets up. 💅😂 Since 1987.
All of these clothes are Y2K Skater clothes. A lot of sweat suits, sweaters, t-shirts, sweat top hoodies, both zippered and pullover style, polo style shirts, and button-down shirts. All sorts of stuff! Also pants and shorts, coats! Make sure you watch past auctions to get more of an idea of what else. Buy it now!
You said in your previous video the sole reason you're "dumping" it all is because your PA based employee resigned. So why not reach out to your contacts, group members, run an ad and hire another PA based person to continue to run the clothes auctions?? Sounds to me like you're just looking to "get out" of the remaining stock as you realize it's not worth the very lengthy wait it will take to continue to sell via auction in hopes of selling enough of those clothes to make money on it and so you'd rather just dump the "financial ial headache" along to someone else. Just saying 😉
@Moco933 we can't just hire a random person 12 hours away. How do we train them and then you have to trust they won't make mistakes as that's my reputation and my accounts at risk. Obviously you've never had employees. 1 person could ruin my whatnot where I've sold over 200k in the last year. If I could be in pa for a month or 2 to train someone I would for sure but it's 120 a night, 1200 a month for that warehouse, and I can't be there in case of an issue. So your suggestion wouldn't work. Now we are trying to find space in SC to move the clothing and continue to sell at our 500 for 2 hours of auctions daily which has been our average. We are happy to answer questions and speculation from everyone
@@mr.buysalot So, basically you banked you're ENTIRE clothing sales model on 1 PA employee to be there in perpetuity and when that came to a sudden end....it's dump it all and move on?? Genius business model IMO. Good luck, sir
@Moco933 lol actually half of that 100k purchase went south if you watched the channel you knew that already. We have been selling that clothing for about 1 year to date and have done around 250,000 in sales. And that employee has been with me for over 20 years so yes we banked some on them but life happens. Pretty genius in my book to make 150k over a year after cost or 100k after expenses on 1 purchase and still have about half the inventory to sell. I like how when your first trolling expedition doesn't work you try to insult me and that didn't work. I'm waiting for more since youtubes algorithm loves engagement
Again, I may have been born at night but I wasn't born last night sir. Your B.S. reign continues. 25k in this economy on a pile of clothes you can't sell fast enough and are stuck 🤣🤣
@Moco933 um this video is 100 per box so back to troll town... I spent 5k yesterday on film and records. But small thinking = small results. You have a great day and list some items and make some money.
I hope this works out great for you! I just wish a few were sorted by size. I could participate then and it would be for personal use since I don't sell. I sure hope this gets rid of lots for! Good luck! 💜

Hey Brian yep i quit ebay a few months back. Got sick of the crazy fees, plus paying for a store, etc over 50%. I sold a couple items in my brick and mortar and on ebay they threatened to shut me down. Thats was it , cost me 150.00 to close shop. Worth every penny. Good luck on your new venture man.
Actually funny as Mr-Magazine is going to hit Whatnot finally as well, I'm going to put a link to your video in our latest as it ties in perfectly! Awesome video
Suggestion, have him put a bowl in the garage, accidentally drop the money into the bowl and drive off with the stuff, that way you didn't really buy it - he just found the money, it is just coincidence that the amount of money just happened to be the same as he wanted for the stuff. Purely coincidence, yep, that's the ticket. Problem is getting your wife to buy it
