Good setup Boss. (3rd gear) Ran 14 laps on 4x wear. Lap 1= 29.07....Lap 14 = 30.08. 20% remaining on right sides.....(4th gear) 16 Laps on 4x wear. Lap 1 = 29.21....Lap 16 = 30.24... On PC. Logitech G29
Are you the guy from the utuber beating and banging. Yall sound familiar . Thanks for all the advise on heat 5. Back to racing, now that I have more time. It's been some intense racing.
I've always used your setups ever since I started playing heat 5 and this is the first time ive ever gotten a faster time than the one you ran and I can't tell you how happy i am even tho it was 2 thousandths of a second. But seriously your setups are the best!!!
I have a question. I am playing in career mode right now and I have the setup u displayed. But my tires are wearing out pretty quick and I am playing in career mode at 100%. Running wide open I have to fit about every six laps or tires LOL and it doesn't quite have the control that you have. So what am I doing wrong? Is there a better setup for the Long haul at 100%
Anyone watching this in the future, this is a great setup but if you’re on controller, drop the wheel lock to about 7 and it’ll feel less loose on corner entry
Tweaked for a little tighter for me and went from 137 struggling on their Setup go 132.7 on my first messy lap. Up on the track bar a little and a little softer front end I felt was more stable for me. Great improvement on anything I had tried myself. lol
Your set up are really fast on all the tracks I've tried them at. The only two tracks that gave me any issues are Talladega and Bristol. The set ups are fast but I get some pretty bad body shake in the corners at both tracks which cause me to wash up the track. The shake is side to side and makes it impossible to hold the bottom. any clue as to what could be causing it?
Thanks! I used this setup in the career Xfinity mode and it easily shaved a half second off my times and got the cup easy! The only difference I made was to run the gears in 1: 2.5 2: 2.0 3: 1.1 4: 1.0 R: 3.89 But only because I like shifting through the corners for fun :>
I gave you a huge shout out on my fledgling Twitch. I felt confident enough to stream the game! I qualified first and highway drove it all the way to first in every stage! I love you!
Ok i ran the fastest lap in the race here but I didn't change any weight stuff or any of the trackbar stuff you did. I used your gearing, shocks, and pressures. I couldn't get it to handle the way I liked using everything. I finished 3rd in a 90 overall truck but the tires died and it had too much (whatever steer is when it doesn't wanna steer)
Cannot figure out why this did not work for me. I'm a full 3 seconds too slow, cannot make the turns without getting hard on the brakes and pretty much all the AI are still running wide open so I just drop like a rock.
Ok i lied! This has to be my favorite track. Finished a career high 6th (4th in the other stages), with a 90 overall truck. I noticed that you do have to brake once the tires fall off at 60% but just a hair before entry. And DO NOT row low coming into the start/finish lmao. For some reason the truck liked to lose grip and mow the infield
*Disclaimer* I'm just trying these preset setups in career mode without 5-star rides cus the custom setups' gearings don't work with anything less. Now, for Pheonix, when Set Up Man says he didn't change much it worries me lol. I'll try it out anyways in a 4 star #3..........(fast forward) Spent 20 laps on first try before I decided to restart and click it one to the right for a 4 value. It was screaming tight even with adjustments
Ok this is now my favorite track! And a great set up! With an all 90 truck in my first season, I qualied 8th. And cracked the top 5 in both sessions. I did dial the gear ratio down a click to try and give me top speed since I'm only 90. I finished 14th cuz i pitted and OF COURSE the caution came out as I'm rolling out a lap down in 30th. So yeah this is a great set up! I gained 16 spots in 4 laps with "hard assists"
These Martinsville set-ups speed up where it needs to slow down and slow down where it needs to speed up. No idea what is wrong but these are very frustrating to drive. Especially as tire wear sets in.
I hate to say it but your older set up was a lot smoother of a ride and easier to control around the turns. This car be a rocking when I'm turning left.
Thank you for this good Setup. Someone who use the T248 Wheel and has problems with a swimming car after couples of rounds (unfortunaly i had a lot.), turn the Force Feedback Effect a little higher. Its a Game Changer. I made a 6th Place on Legend settings. (with two bottles of beer ^^ or was it three?)
