no, the hardcover does not help. humidity gets in. youd need some sort of seal, either oil and repeat seasoning every month or two, or some sort of plastic coat that tightly fits to surface
Easier future tip - counter guys use a razor knife and just cut out a little of the sheetrock vs the counter to fix out of square walls. Then back splash etc covers the counter in the wall you cut out ;)
Sadly these curtains are 4 times the price of when you installed them in 2022 (2024). I was disappointed to see they want nearly $220 per curtain panel. They seem to have gotten a bit greedy. Maybe your video made them go viral? Anyways bad luck for us but good luck for you. Your home looks lovely !

These are great when they work! The problem is that they will not last and cost way too much to fix. I used less than 20 gallons of paint through both sprayers, and both of them went in the trash. It's too bad that Graco can't figure out how to make these last!
Like the design like the colour but each to there own i would have left the skirting boards white all around the door and window frames and left thw wood top natural to match the flooring but each to there own nice work tho
I hate to tell you that the hardcover doesn’t prevent it from rusting. I have a hard cover and even put a soft cover on top of the hardcover, and I still got rust.
Look how the guys painting, not painters, start spraying right on the door. Splat! They're good for stain and that's about it. Very cool machine though.
My gridde has the metal dome and a cover and still rust.....dont think your method f cleaning will be successful as we all know if you dont remove all the rust, it will come back......Blackstone should get rid of this type of surface and offer a Stainless steel replacement.....and make all our lives much easier....
