How do you like the powertec tracks? Do they need to be clamped i have heard the anti slip rubber doesn't work as well as the expensive tracks after a few uses! Also, nice track saw! I love metabo hpt even though i am team red.
I followed direction to the t to recharge the air and it won’t reset driver . And whom ever designed the air recharge port need to have the Deek cut off. I cut my thumb all up.
A big thing keeping me back from this saw is its lack of anti-tip feature and no riving knife nor anti kickback feature. If they'd added those two features I'd be sold.
I have the Makita 36v track saw with anti tip. One thing to consider is that when the anti tip activated it wants to tip.anyway and take the whole track with it. Plus, you have to hold it down to cut regardless. So it's really not a feature worth making the decision over. Also, some say a riving knife causes problems on a track saw. I'm not sure why. Finally, I have the 36v Metabo HPT 36v conventional circular saw. I have activated the electronic kickback control on that saw and it stops the blade. I would be surprised if the HPT track saw did not have the same electronics.
I just ordered mine on Amazon. They want $279 at Lowe’s. I got it for $163 on Amazon. the brushless compact 18 gauge Brad nailer I couldn’t believe the price difference on Amazon
@@baraksinz basically we don’t like that they push the 20 V and their 12 V line like you need both of them. Like you we were looking between Milwaukee or Metabo HPT. Both companies have full options with nailers and tools. We went with Metabo HPT . Basically their nailers were a little better.
@@designsbyjvl1205 Seven years ago I was 50/50 HPT/Milwaukee. Now, it's more like 85/15. And I'm reticent about buying into the 12v line from anyone. I use Milwaukee 12v tools (my employer's) every day and they are great while they last; they're just not the best "value proposition" for the scope of work I tend to do.
This drill loves higher amp batteries. According to somw test channel it had 220 inch pounds with 5ah and 228 with 8 amp. Only 150 or so with 2 amp (still alot for small battery) but its good to know there is more power to gain incase it is needed :)
Nothing instructional here really disappointed in Lowe’s and Home Depot. We’re not getting their theft problem on power to us under control. All they have to do is lock all the tools up in the back warehouse where nobody knows where they’re at. Customer can look at a non-working demo and then go pay his money at the register and then they can bring the tool up just like it Costco, Home Depot and Lowe needs to study how Costco does business
