JaCOB bROOKS : I BOT timberline top soil and it smelled like GASOLINE OIL PETROLIUM. I really should have gotten an insane TEMPER and went back to the store to tell those MO FOs off but I didn't . I took the shit up and threw the shit away. Stay away from all stuff that smells like freaking ass/gas. Vaseline is made from OIL.HOME DEPOT sells TIMBERLINE top soil and so does K mart. IT comes from atlanta. They are apparently digging it up from contaminated soil . STUPID fucks!!!!!! Be aware of shit you eat. BTW I smell all nonedible or edible shit before I buy it or eat it !!!!! If it smells like chemicals I don't eat or buy. I'm a reptile myself and have a good sniffer. lol

Did you have two lights or just one? It looked like you had one on each corner. What state are you in? I'm in MO and my box turtles don't like anything warmer than 70. So do I need to make sure I have an area that has LIGHT but doesn't get much warmer than 70-75?

My family and I picked up a small turtle, that was crossing a dirt path. Took it home and found out it was a three toe box turtle... Same size as yours in the video... How old are yours? We found a female... What type of greens do they eat? Thanks

Nice setup! Does the acrylic get scratched by your turtle? I heard that is one of the down falls of acrylic tanks. You should check out my setup for my baby Eastern Box Turtle.

turtles don't like to be visible! you need to cover at least 2 sides of the tank or else it will cause stress and lead to your turtle's death!

U can probably get a box turtle off of turtleshack , turtlesale , or turtlesource and if not there then search live box turtles for sale on google I thought turtleshack abused their animals from other peoples responses but I got turtles and they seem pretty healthy
