I am always defending cops being racist. I don’t think they target people because of their skin color. But I think their behavior, and their defenses change based on who they are dealing with. Had this young man been a black, dressed like a rapper, I think the cops would have been much much more careful.

Predator catching groups tried calling police, showing clearly evidence of them trying to do illegal things with people who are not of-age, and nothing happens to these people. So now they've decided to no longer bother working with the police, and take it into their own hands. Perhaps if the police approached their local officials and tried to get the laws changed so that predators can't sit in legal limbo for years and years, or find loopholes that let them get away with it, then predator catching groups wouldn't be necessary.

The cops don’t do enough. These dudes travel around the country and do this. They catch multiple predators sometimes in as little as 24 Hours. Jay and Josh talk about how scarily easy it is to catch these predators. If the police wanted to find the predators they could but they don’t spend enough time or resources on it. Jay and Josh use public humiliation and shame as a deterrent since law enforcement is so negligent to this issue.

The Lubbock Police Department should release any video of the incident immediately!
