Slow pitch just isn’t for me-I can't bring myself to do it. I usually stick to fast pitch or baseball. Whenever I talk to someone who plays slow pitch, I can't help but think they might not be as strong or fit. I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but it’s something I’ve noticed-they often seem out of shape. I’ve got a buddy who plays slow pitch, and we occasionally hit the batting cages together, but he doesn’t enjoy it as much because I prefer fast pitches. He often complains about how sore he gets from hitting too many fastballs. You also don’t want to invite these guys to play fast pitch-they tend to be weaker and slower on the field. I wish it wasn’t true, especially since you all seem to have so much fun out there, but in the end, it just feels like a softer version of the sport. I guess to each there own. I'm 42 now, and maybe when I get into my 50s of 60s I will play Slow Pitch.
I love Mike!!! Played guitar with him too many times to count! Michael Kelly Smith is a really good stage name plus, I kid you not, he's unfuckinbelievable!!!! Dude got truck loads of "IT!". Like, in the recording/touring industry you either got it or you don't got it. Mike has TONS of "IT" swear to God. Saw Montrose "Live" with Mike and his drummer Steve about 10 years ago. Too much fun and I can't believe I witnessed him order & drink "a" (1`, uno) glass of red wine. "Way to go Kelly Smith!!!". Still as awesome as ever. Dave Makowski 🤕💔 I'm literally all busted up!
