If the 60's could be reincarnated into an 80's band, this is it. Bass lines so chunky you can cut them with a fork, passionate DiNizio vocals and lyrics that never brought the word 'filler' into a conversation. This band should have had more recognition.
It is an extremely beautifully warm evening here in Northern California... But f*** that !!!! What I wouldn't give to be back in the 1980s out of little club in Bloomfield New Jersey called the dirt club where every month or so these guys would swing through and play.
Still listening in 2024! Heard something so I played this right along with Nirvana about a girl..yeah it's there, it's almost identical. One of Kurt's influences, a great way to pay homage. RIP Pat and Kurt 🙏🤘✌️
Brings back memories. Saw them so many times @ Court Tavern in New Brunswick. Jim Babjak used to work@ a record store called Flaming Groovies . We used had good record nerd conversations over pizza. Nice guy.
Quality music, don't think they are underrated but unknown to many...pity, hope young people discover them,they deserve it.....the same with Galaxie500.
