I really want to make a trailer for a 1/6th scale pro boat jet stream and hook it up to my 1/6th scale honcho..would it be hard to scale up to that size?
I have one of those as well! The red rubber is a little dry but surprisingly when I plugged it in the battery took charge and I was able to actually use it a few times all these years later. I have the box boy not sure I have the styrofoam that was in the box I will have to check again. Took it out a few years ago and was surprised it still ran. I have a video on RU-vid of it working on my account. Check it out. Nothing flashy but wanted to video it working on my garage floor
Water is abrasive. It speeds up the wear of the brushes. Water break in seats the brushes to the comm faster so you get more power. Water break in doesn’t prolong the life of the motor, it actually takes life away. Water break is an old method for racing applications were seated motors were used for more power changing motors during a race. It makes for a faster better seated motor, but definitely kills the motor faster.
Great video. The more camera angles the better and having the camera down low is the best. I like how you have the truck coming towards the camera and then driving away in the next segment. I'm always by myself so bashing and filming is difficult. Crawlers just seam to be a much better choice for someone like me starting out in the hobby.
So would this still be beneficial to a motor thats run about 8 packs? Its an arrma 12 550. Also would this be wise to do periodically as a maintenance cleaning?
