I enjoy Joshua's LBO case study video, but viewers please note that gross profit minus SG&A is NOT EBITDA; you would not subtract D&A from EBITDA to get to EBIT, but rather add D&A to EBIT to get EBITDA. D&A as an expense is either going to be a part of COGS or a part of Operating expenses (SG&A in this case), depending on the nature of the business.
Hi Josh, big fan of your videos (from India). I have learned so much from them, more than any paid course I ever did. Just wondering if you forget to record the Part 3 of 3 lol
What is happening to cash that you adjusted in 2012? Either that should have been spent on transaction or remained on the balance sheet. You have adjusted that in balance sheet but not spent it on transaction fees or pass it through cash flow statement !
This video is amazing and really on point even for a current analyst myself! Is there any way you can send the answer sheet? I could not find the link for it and would be hugely appreciated if you could share the link!
Hey there! I just stumbled upon your channel and wanted to drop a note. Your content has sparked a real excitement in me to delve deeper into the world of finance. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Keep up the great work-I can’t wait to see what I'll learn next! Cheers!!!
