Friendly woodland creatures and maybe some other stuff. None of these animals are our pets. They show up once in a while when they feel like it, have a visit, then waddle off into the woods. Life is good.
I know nothing about porcupines and so I did not realize that they could sit like a small child with their paws to hold something. I don't know why as they are similar to racoons in appearance somewhat with the same body shape. This is adorable.
They remind me of my angry guinea pig named Yule. She would purr, rumble strut, and teeth chatter often. She was a very angry creature. I rescued her from the shelter, she was away from the other pigs because she brutally attacked them. I kept her for 4 years, and I adopted 2 more pigs (a mother and daughter) in January of this year. Sadly I had to rehome them to a very good friend that has experience with rodents and rabbits, she built them a giant enclosure because she is an engineer. I had to make room for my service dog pup before I got him. I'm going to college soon so I chose to retire my 6 year old service dog and train a new pup since I plan on getting my PHD, I didn't want to train a pup while I am in college. I wish I had the space, time, and money for my piggies and puppy. They are living a good life though! Their new owner talks about Yule often, she has a huge personality. She said she loves it when she takes her vitamins in the morning because Yule goes insane and starts wheeking and popcorning. She loves the sound of bags and pills. When I had her, I gave her vitamin c supplements because they can't make their own vitamin c, I kept them in a jar and I would shake them before I fed her. Now she acts like a pill addict!
Once she looked over the side & saw he was ok she went right back to eating. I bet when the person ‘rescued’ him she thought ‘there goes a good lesson, wasted’!
Snoozin porcupine it's wild how high in the trees these guys climb very Kool only seen a few seen one in Maine years ago a big porcupine too awesome greetings guys I got a soft spot for animals I protect 👋🍻
