Huge fan of the GBB, super sad that frank has passed on, been conducting since 2012 - now, no, I’m not Robert gray, I was a child when I started conducting, yep, I was a child, I was 3 when I conducted, I’m still conducting the Galveston Beach Band, it’s a huge honor to be there since I was a half toddler! Hope I see y’all commenters there!
I know Ms. Carleena (I think that’s how you spell her name) the only way I know her is cus I’ve been there for years ever since I was a baby in arms! Ms. Carleena knows me too! I’m her #1 fan! :>

I am so glad I got to go to so many Tuesday night concerts. So fun to watch the kids still running around chasing lightning bugs, just like when I was a child. It was like stepping into a Norman Rockwell painting.
Frank, it’s great to see you doing so well. I played drums for you in your dance band back in the 70s. I was a music major at the u of h at the time. I also remember doing a drum solo at one of your beach concerts. I am currently the drummer/ percussionist at the Arizona Broadway theater in Phoenix. Thanks so much for the memories, Mark Pyle
Mark: Thanks for recording our concerts. This is the best one you've done, nice and clear video and wonderful audio. The editing is great. Thanks again. Gary Lively
Very nice program yall!! The last one, "Knock, Knock" surprised me, I hadn't heard that before, but I liked it a lot. MORE Bass clarinet on the Janacek sextet!! ;) Good luck to the both of yall!
