It looks like a flower or a snowflake. I can’t decide but whenever the person that gets it, whatever the season is, they can decide what it looks like more. lol. Snowflake or flower, it’s still damn beautiful!!
I have followed JannPaul since 2020 and I've watched every video, including this one already. But finally, at long last, going through the process with them to make my very own ring, I just had to rewatch them. And this one is my favorite. All their educational videos empower the consumer to understand what they should look out for. All their videos showing their rings show such amazing designs, genuinely more beautiful in my opinion than anything I saw when my partner and I shopped around Los Angeles' jewelry district. But this one, showing the actual process to make the ring itself, really makes you realize how much care is put into the whole ring, beyond just their incomparable diamonds. Most places will have their settings cast, not hand forged. And I remember thinking that JannPaul must cast their settings too because they were so delicate and intricate. But I was wrong. Blows me away to actually see the entire process. I even went down a rabbit hole to understand basic metalworking, from how to get different Vickers hardness and to what the crank thing was (a rolling mill), why they hammered the lump of metal on that block (cold hammering to increase hardness), and why they pulled it through that thing with multiple holes (it's a drawing plate and it's used to have a uniform diameter in the rod.) Couldn't be happier to be a JannPaul customer. They're not only have a wealth of knowledge but also incredible company values.
Engraved stones need to be at least a certain ct weight to have a girdle, which is thick enough to be engraved. .85 or .90ct is about the smallest stones that are engraved.
I personally find the original cut style of ovals to be more mesmerizing. They look more like jewels found in sunken pirate treasure. Something very beautiful about them. Like you are looking at stars, or into some mysterious portal. Your new cut is impressive, but maybe too perfect for me.
China and Hong Kong kept on building the useless spaces for nothings in the future’s; I do feels sorry for all of the fucking stupidity government mindset to growing the spaces for nothings useful; what the fuck the government sitting the talking could earning the taxes payers pay checks that so delusional that how can the governments knowing really what to do with the emptying spaces without used just kept in building the delusional historical narrative to showing in between of China did today’s; who’s the fuck care of the delusional historical that the fucking government made it up?!
Jewellers should be 100% ethical. This dude thinks he is smart, telling us all the ways he can cheat customers. Find a jeweller you can trust. In the 3rd world jewellers cheat their customers. The tradition in developed countries is honest, ethical behavior.
The real diamond without cut still looks shining and beautiful, regarding the Atomic structure! The fake one even with well cut can not compaire! Too much fake ones nowadays the certificate are fake as well, follow the reason of push up further inflation for non inflation surpport! That is the reason they creates the lab diamond, nothing like the real one, regarding the way they created can not compair to the nature diamonds! Even the antomic steucture isnt the same!😮
Hello, may I ask... My cousin went to a shop to check if his diamonds were real, however, using the gia id100, there was no color and says refer, does that mean it is Lab Grown? Thsnk uou
I want to see a video now for jewelers on how to spot scammers and thieves from swapping and scamming them. Most fraud in this business comes from the consumer side. I have seen some real sleezers in my years.
These are criminal acts that are being described. A reputable jeweller who cars about staying in business and keep his reputation would not want to do anything to ruin his business and or end up on criminal charges. I occasionally buy jewellery for myself and my wife. When we pick up any rings the jeweller verifies the stones with us to be the one that was proposed in the first place. When I buy any type of stone, I look in the microscope to view the inclusions. When I pick up the stone I look at it again in the microscope to see of the inclusions look the same as what I previously saw. With gold rings if the jeweller is dishonest he can re-stamp the gold ring to indicate a higher carat than what it really is. The only way to know the carat is with the acid test which the customer is not going to do himself. This again is a form of fraud and and the jeweller can be criminally charged. So-far I have not been cheated by any of the places I deal with.
I recently bought a 0.91 3x excellent diamond engagement ring (had it custom made) and was concerned that it would be too deep with a depth of 62.9%. However, once I saw it in person it took my breath away and is extremely shiny and vibrant, especially in the sunlight. Just goes to show that every stone is unique and must be considered in its own merit.
