This was another brilliant retelling of the Nativity story and the Ultimo community coming together and supporting one another was so wonderfully. Thanks to everyone who made it such a special event. Thanks, Ian, Lily and Simon, for recording and putting together this video vignette.
*Mister Deeds Goes to Town* (the Gary Cooper film referred to in this talk) is currently available to stream for free in Australia via the ABC iview platform (as of Feb 2022)
What a powerful beautifully put- together evocation and expression of the truth - thank you - and wishing both you and Robyne a delightful new year ✨☘️🥰
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today is April 5. Today is Palm Sunday. This passage from the Book of the prophet Isaiah was to be our Old Testament Lesson of the Day. Sadly, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, services at my church have been canceled, although our pastor has delivered a weekly message both on facebook and RU-vid.
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (March 8, Lent 2), this was our New Testament Lesson (or Epistle) of the Day. Now, I prepare to go back to my church tonight for the second of our Lent services that we are having.
This is a very good talk Ian. Thank you again. I really like both the Doctor illustration and the illustration about how our homes gradually become an expression of us. Very helpful.
