I am going to school right now for criminal justice and I was wondering if there are any jobs that directly deals with substance abuse in the criminal justice system?
Hey Mercadez. I just wanted to reach out. I typed in generational curses on RU-vid and your video popped up. I was just curious as to why I embraced patterns/cycles in my Life. Some positive/negative behaviors that I wanted to really work on in my personal life. I just turned 31. I could relate to what you were talking about. I was raised churchy in my childhood and I felt like when I became an adult, I felt lost. But I always had a passion for music. But truthfully being born in a city with a whole lot of family who had a lot of stuff that tried to pull me down. My mother was very quiet and always played gospel rap and my father played all kinds of different music. I promise they used to argue all the time and it was hard even being raised in a two parent home. Then I realized that I was raised in so many different environments. Majority of my family were drugs dealers, pimps, prostitutes, and alot of that tried to creep into my life although I knew deep down it wasn't a righteous path. But I was teased because back then I wasn't having sex. I remember being in this childlike mindset where I knew it wasn't right to just be sleeping around which alot of ppl did. But I remember my grandparents who gave their lived to Christ. They really kept the family together. We celebrated Christmas, Thanksgiving as a family and prayed. Like that was so normal. Now it's just so different. I feel like everybody is more so against each other due to social media status or whatever. But I'm telling you that I could relate. Thank you for sharing this! Now I'm in season of figuring out who I am. Now my parents been at the same job all these yrs. But I feel like it's hard for me to stay at a job long term. I used to...mIn sorry this is long. I just wanted to hear you and your journey through life.
Thank you for making this video. I've just heard about prayer rooms, walls, closets, boards, etc., this week, and I was curious what they were. I only ever knew about speaking my prayers to God, whether vocally, in my head, or in a journal. Even after watching War Room a few years ago, I still didn't quite get the concept. But I want to. Prayerful was the word I'd chosen for 2024, in hopes that I could work on being more prayerful. But here it is nearing the end of July, and I don't think I've made any improvements. Maybe a prayer board or something similar will help me.
RU-vid University definitely helps. Even if I hire someone to replace something I'll watch a few videos on the install so I know what's going on when they're working on whatever at every step in the process. In fact, sometimes they ran into issues and I pulled up a video that helped and they were very grateful as well.
Congratulations on 25k. I’m at a point where I’m like I need a reset. The first 6 months have been rough. I had a birthday this month and I’m like it’s time to rest my entire life not just my space…. “try again”
My apt needs a deep clean. I also want to revisit my goals. Congrats on 25K!!! I feel like those box dyes should say that you need to bleach your hair to get the color on the box lol.
Discipline and consistency are key to success! Yes I need to do the same be more disciplined. I say if there isn't any discipline there can't be any order. I'm trying to do better with saving because I'm definitely not doing well with it.
