I think you did a great job asking questions and running the interview too. Yes Mr. Korfist is very smart. I’m trying to learn from him now and going through talks and articles he’s written.
Hey great contest . Fun fact Training without a team often training by me selv i often find overcoming iso not working for me. So i switch to heawy holding 15-20 sek ankle iso
His knowledge is insane. He breaks down information so that it’s easy to digest. Legend yes, who else gets to watch the Super Bowl that includes 15 players they have worked with?
Hello, Your channel videos are very good. But you have done something wrong due to which the video is not getting more views. For example, your video Tags are too short. There are some more issues like this if you fix them they will get a lot of views. And subscribers will come.
@@platesandpancakes4593 Yes, making changes will slowly increase views and subscribers. This will make your channel bigger. I can do it for you if you want. You will get 100% good results.
I enjoyed the information coming from someone who has a great bio. Tell you what, I like the most, when he wasnt clear about something he referred back to host instead of b.s. ing his way through an answer. You can tell though he has the passion to get where he wants to go.
Just wanted to leave this, I remember playing Matty June, same age as me. Played against his Colonie team all the time in the travel/all-star circuit when I played for Albany as teenagers. Guess I got one thing on him - he never got a hit off me 🤙🤙 Glad he is doing well and is successful. Keep it up, brother 💪🥂💯
Thank you. I am glad I was able to ask good questions. Brandon is remarkable and forthcoming with what he knows. I appreciate his time. Thank you for watching
I did not gather his coaching style resembled that from the conversations we had. I do not know a lot about Webb City other than some incredible talent has come from there. I remember Grant Wistrom’s recruiting tape making it up to our locker room in Adrian when I was a freshman.
@@platesandpancakes4593 Well research Webb City and find out about their outrageous policies of violence against high school age persons, and just how many victims of violence they are responsible for over the years.
I can understand that. I agree we could have discussed that and helped some more advanced lifters. It didn’t fit the content I have been doing so I didn’t go into it. It would be something I would love to discuss with him in the future
@@voodoo4ranch821thank you for acknowledging my comment . I still enjoyed the podcast , i am using his 531 forever and just wanted to see if theres any thing i should change up with training max "s. And recovery an templetes as i approach a 700lb deadlift . Or if these templetes will take me to elite status . I know he trained with some the best lifters on the planet an take what he says serious . I just didnt know if these programs would stop working after a certain level and they needed to be modified . Any ways thank you again for having jim on your platform an leting us have acess to this
I can understand that. It seems like it’s a never ending job finding out what works. I think the more I do this I find the priority is rest. Everyone does too much and can’t recover
@voodoo4ranch821 he has answered my questions recently. He's very active on RU-vid now he does a weekly stream question an answers . Thank you again for your response. I hope your channel continues to grow
Jim, I cannot agree more with your approach. I'm not exactly fond of the program that our coach uses, and I hope to get more control over what we do and implement more of your methods. Thanks for sharing this info for those of us trying to help these kids get stronger with CORRECT FORM!
Thanks for watching. Jim explains everything so well and it’s an athlete first approach. That’s what is cool. With his background he could just be about the weights but he isn’t.
I subscribed because you had Jim on. I've now been training with 5/3/1 for 11 years. It's changed my life. What is not discussed, however, is Jim's mentality and this is just about as important as his 5/3/1 program. His views on consistency, discipline, commitment are positive sentiments that are sorely needed amongst young people. It's not just physical strength but mental strength that comes with training seriously. "It's not your fault, but it's your responsibility. " ...something Jim has said this in a few podcasts does not come with bells and whistles but is no less true. Awesome that you had Jim on.
You are right. It could have went into depth a little further. So this is how it kind of went down. I was really nervous. What if he wasn’t as cool as he seemed. He hopped on the podcast. We talked for over a half hour pre show. That obviously took away some time we could have gotten into those things. I am happy to say he was genuine he didn’t rush the conversation and made the whole thing a blast. He is as advertised and helping people is his passion. Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope you enjoyed it.
could coach korfist provide a list of guitars and amps in his cave? i kidded him about his bevy of riches a little about it on a call with tony about a year ago. that’s some sharp gear. oh, btw a great interview! eliminate the fear.
I asked him about them. He said well you can only see two walls the other two are just as full. Thanks for listening and I am glad you enjoyed the show. He was a great guest.
