It started as a group of pilots with an idea. Build wings that just do everything better: handle better, turn tighter, glide faster, and are more comfortable to fly. Balance all those together, and never compromise. The result is something most pilots can only dream of: the most potent fun factor in paragliding.
Such an awesome video! I heard Wanaka and mannnn, would love to visit New Zealand. Then I saw Makapu'u. I live on Oa'hu and can't wait to take some paragliding lessons.
Does anyone use this system for just everyday flight? I’m trying to get into a bit of slalom but I’m wondering if I would lose any performance by not being able to pull brake and tip at the same time when doing wing overs and playing around
😂It creates a good result but the amount of useless fumbling around is amazing. Instead of standing at the trailing edge and grabbing As simply stand at the leading edge, stack the cells in between the knees. When you've finished stuffing the rest of the glider i to the stuff sack you put the LE over, flatten it out into a rosette over the glider and you're done in a fraction of time compared to this method.
Yup. Paragliding was a life changer for me. What a journey. There is no other flying experiance can match it. It has changed me and made me better. ❤ There are times I'm up there, hanging on nothing, and my mind goes back to thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of years ago when humans would have looked to birds with envy, stood on the edge of cliffs and wondered . . . And those brave souls that put their lives at risk experimenting with flight and then parachutes, often paying the ultimate price. Those crazy first pilots and designers, aeronautical engineers that advanced beyond the basics. The people that set up manufacturing businesses to allow more accessibility. The land owners that give us access to the most beautiful places on earth. I tell ya, i get a bit emotional and have to admit, I've shed a few tears of joy. And I'm just a bunny, so much more to do; get to 10000' travel to iconic lauch sites to fly. Crack 100km bee line In 5 years ive learned so much, especially about myself. Lost a few friends along the way, which has been hard, but we all know the risks, and theu are monor if we respect the caprice of nature. I feel himble at being privileged to live now and be able to do this. Total gratitude to all those dreamers from the past, the pilots who have helped guide me, the friends I've made. I gotta say, I'm a bit bemused you don't have an instruction video. I'm lucky to have got mine second hand, in excellent condition, from an experienced pilot who was able to run me thru some of the characteristics and techniques. I mean, the instruction manual just covers the most basic of basics. Nothing on how to fly using the B/C system, what to expect in tight turns etc. I've just progressed from a kibo and it would be nice to have a video discussing decent techniques, big ear characteristics etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally in love with the thing, but I feel like you sell em, and that's it. We're left to sort of work it out ourselves as we go. I've had to work out releasing the big ears, a bit of a pump on the brake, combined with some weight shift (I actually like the way the big ears stay locked in, but it is a little different). And I've found i have to boss it a bit on launch, rather than tease it up slowly. If it flops forward, the positioning of the cell openings means i have to reset. That's ok, but again, its a bit different. That said, it's actually very straightforward to fly, fast, good under brakes approaching landing, amazing glide ratio, excellent on bar, turns tight and, as i discovered just 2 days ago, recovers from collapses real quick. I'm doing things i never thought I'd do because i can just head off safe in the knowledge it will penetrate well if the wind gets up a bit and i can jump gaps without losing any significant height. Im flying 101 kg on the 85-105 and it outperformes anything I've flown previously. It certainly gives good feedback and while a bit rough, it's kinda like the hard suspension on a sports car. The swift seems smoother, but in the locations i fly, the lighter materials would be quite vulnerable. I dunno if this makes a difference, but even a short video from your in house test pilots, designers, manufacturers etc would be a brilliant resource. There are reviews out there, but, while informative, they aren't necessarily instructive and I know some of those reviewers are sponsored by rival manufacturer's. Sorry for the short novel 😂 and i hope that makes sense.

Great video guys, but I'm afraid that the statement about stall speed being higher when using rear risers is not true. It would be great to see another video about flying on rear risers with trims at fast/slow and the differences involved.
