Sir, YOU have the best of intentions, no doubt. But you know what they say about intentions and that road. I am sorry. But someone has to bring this up, if only for the sake of people reading these comments who are tempted to follow suit. Even on clearance pricing, these bettas are proving to be profitable for the companies that sell them. By "rescuing" them in this manner, you are still turning a profit for those stores and perpetuating the problem -- they will just order more and the cycle continues. The big box stores will have learned absolutely nothing, have not changed, are still stocking bettas that they treat terribly and more misguided social media divas will make a show of buying all the mistreated bettas in the name of "rescue" (or actually, getting likes and subscribers). Not saying that's necessarily YOU, but let's be honest: has ANYTHING really changed since you posted this video? Are the big box stores changing their ways AT ALL? Have any of the other social media "rescuers" demonstrated that their rescues have had any kind of lasting change in how bettas are sold/treated in their own areas? If so, I have yet to see it. But by all means, if you know different, please do direct me to the source. Perhaps other ways to effect change are in order. Talking to managers, contacting corporate, making your case to the top, being persistent, and meanwhile, getting the word out that fishkeepers should only buy bettas from local, responsible breeders...if all the betta "rescuers" out there would do this instead, we might be able to eliminate this betta abuse nightmare in a few years. But four years after this rescue video, can you honestly say anything has changed for the better? Time to switch tactics. Take care.
These aren't vampire crabs. They are actually Halloween moon crabs. Similar but much different in size. Pretty similar care, but Vampire crabs are substantially smaller.
I'm sorry? What exactly did I copy? as far as asking for suggestions, it is a way for the audience to interact. regardless of your opinion, I appreciate your interaction
@christopher_scott lol I'm just saying it would be great to see a channel do it's own thing and still interact with us I'm sorry you felt the need to take it the wrong way and say something
Not sure if it’s a good mix with gambusia holbrooki/affinis and heterandria formosa, since I’m pretty sure gambusia are a predatory fish against heterandria formosa and formosa fry. But I’m a huge fan of the h formosa and if it was possible for me to put them out in a pond I would do so, but I can’t since I live a a two room apartment with no balcony
